This caught my eye because it looked similar to the $400 Dyson hair dryers. I’ve needed a new hair dryer for awhile but looking at regular retail stores I never found anything except the basic, bulky hair dryers and if I was going to spend the money, I wanted one that looked sleek, less bulky for travel and for storage, but also good quality. For the price and Amazon’s return policy, I figured why not give this one a try! I have used a few times now and I’m very satisfied. It gets very warm, has a nice low and high setting and one of my favorite parts, the cool setting! It is a must have for me during the Oklahoma summer months. It’s too hot to dry my hair on the heat setting for the entire time. I feel that it dried my hair quicker than my old hair dryer. It comes with a nice set of nozzles and a diffuser. The filter on the back seems very easy to clean. It’s also much quieter than my previous hair dryer. All in all, worth the money!!

I gravely underestimated this little dryer when I first opened it! At first glance, I was underwhelmed, and thought, I was bamboozled by advertising. Then I tried it.....this dryer is noticeably BETTER than any other I have used!! It is not completely quiet, but it is much, much quietER than my old one. It's more compact and much lighter too. But the drying time was shocking! I dried my hair in only a few minutes, and did not feel the arm fatigue and impatience I would with my old bigger, heavier, louder, slower dryer! This means this drier uses less time, less effort, causes less hair damage, makes less noise, AND takes up less storage space!! - OK, this was money well spent!! I LOVE this dryer!! :-D

After reading tons of product reviews on various dryers, I was feeling quite defeated. It seemed there wasn’t a great hair dryer that wasn’t going to catch my hair on fire (has happened to me 3 times in my life with diff dryers/brands) or my hair was going to get sucked in the back (also has happened and we all know how bad that hurts!) THEN a smart friend suggested I watch some YouTube video product reviews which led me down the path of discovering that I’ve been drying my hair wrong my entire life. Manes by Mel on YouTube (for curly hair) has changed my life, and that’s when I decided it didn’t matter as much about all the reviews saying their hair got sucked in, because I won’t be using the dryer in a way that will allow that to happen!

With this dryer, I find it is lighter weight than some others I’ve had, and I don’t have issues with accidentally turning it off or to another setting like with some others. I no longer have to worry about it (or me) overheating because I now dry on the low setting. And I don’t have to worry about my hair getting sucked into the back, because I tilt my head at an angle and hold the dryer under the bottom of my hair with the diffuser. I no longer squish my hair to my head with the diffuser. As a result of the dryer and a change in my diffusing process, my curls are much more defined and less frizzy. I’ve gotten many compliments. I’ve also used this to straighten my hair with no issues.

My only issue/complaint after a few weeks of use, is that one of the attachments doesn’t fit. The diffuser and the smaller smoothing attachment fit well, but the other won’t seem to go on. I just use the smaller, it works fine for straightening my hair.

I like that the negative ion feature that prevents my hair from getting frizz and dry. I can immediately feel the difference after the first use. I didn't know that hair dryer makes a big difference. I've had mine old one for about 3 years and I am glad I found this one that helps with my hair quality issues. My hair is thick and sort of straight with small amount of wavy hair so I can tell the power of this hair dryer had drastically decreased my drying time after wash. I've only used the diffuser option once and felt that the air was not as strong as the other tip.
