My kids needed some extra Christmas magic this year. After a hard year and after my son learned about he elves while talking to friends, I decided to finally try the elves.

The elf came by itself (no clothing) and a book. There is a website listed in the book to "register" your elf and get a letter from Santa and a certificate.

I used the elf to bring special gifts to my kids and make Christmas a little special. Some people use the elf to just hide around the house, you can set the rules.

If you are already overwhelmed with the holidays, just make a letter form Santa that says that the elves have been assigned for the year and to try again next year. Otherwise, this is a fun holiday tradition.
