Unlike some I am willing to pay a bit more for the convenience of having a case of this delivered to my door. I don't like schlepping into Sam's club, and anything I use regularly such as bottled Fuji water, Tes's Tea jasmin green tea, and this, I like to have delivered. Considering I don't eat more than one of these a week it's not like I'm going to be losing big bucks. This is a 24 week supply for me.
As for the soup itself, it's hot, filling, and it's oriental noodles ready to go after a couple of minutes in the microwave. Try adding a few drops of Soy Sauce or Sesame Oil, or if you have time some chopped carrots, celery or peas.) So at two of these cases a year, at an additional $6 per case over what I might pay in a store (plus Fla. state sales tax), that's an extra $12 a year for this conveneince. It's worth it to me. I don't pay shipping as I have Amazon Prime, which is totally worth it for frequent Amazon purchases. So far I can still afford an extra $12 per year for this.
One thing people might want to think about is this, taken from Wikipedia: "The most recent controversy concerns dioxin and other hormone-like substances that could theoretically be extracted from the packaging and glues used to pack the instant noodles. It was reasoned that harmful substances could seep into the soup as hot water was added to cup style instant noodles." I empty the contents of the cup into a Pyrex bowl to heat it. I like this as a quick snack and love the convenience of home delivery.
Bought these for my dorm room to use with my Keurig coffee machine. 100% worth the cheap price since they're delivered to me instead of having to go to a bulk store like Sam's Club or BJs. The taste gets old after 24 packages, but I still didn't mind them. Definitely the best flavor of cup ramen as well. These do generate a lot of garbage since you have the cup, the plastic around the cup, and the cardboard around all that, plus the larger cardboard carrier and the plastic covering it. They're well sealed because of all that plastic, though.
Just fill them up to the line with boiling water, cover the top with either the paper cover or some other thing, wait a few minutes, and dig in.
I'm always busy so I'm also a big ramen noodle fan, they're quick, good, and seem to hit the spot. Normally, i buy the more flat rectangle shaped packages but these cup versions seem a bit less salty tasting, which i like. Bought my 2nd case just the other day and am anxious for them to arrive. The only negative is that the noodles don't do well with just a spoon. The noodles are so long that that i have to use both a spoon and a fork. With the flat rectangle shaped packages you simply have to crunch the noodle pack a small bit before adding them to the water which causes them to fit nicely within the spoon. However, you can't really crunch the cups like that or you'll have a problem. Other than that... i really like them.
Despite my title, I still ate every single one of these.
Tasty for sure, easy to make, quick and easy if you need a snack. I remember eating these things on Boy Scout cold weather campouts back in the day so that's a win for the nostalgia column. That being said, we have a hot (boiling) water dispenser at work and it is a bit of a problem how easy and fast these things are. PROTIP: put a CD on top post water injection and they'll "cook" faster, as if that's an issue.

So as my title says, "Not all that healthy but whatever" That's the American Way.
For a college student like myself who is constantly busy with working and pursuing his engineering degree and who doesn't have a car, this is godsend! It has been known for years that ramen is the life essence of college students and especially for us on a budget. Now excuse me while I go and eat some ramen and reminisce the days I used to eat home-cooked meals.
P.S. Scientists forget about trivialties such as curing diseases and focus on lowering the calories on food! 3 cups hardly fill me up, but they have half the average amount of calories! Get to it! Saving the world can come later!
