Silver Brewer: The Silver Foxes of Blue Ridge Kindle Edition
Sometimes you just need to embrace the challenge.
When a quiet, grumpy, silver fox mountain man encounters a chirpy, sunshine, city woman who wants his land, he offers an ultimatum: three days camping. What could possibly go wrong?
George Harrington
Giving up my family’s property is never going to happen.
No sale, Cricket.
However, the chirpy city woman with sky-blue eyes and fast-talking lips wears me down. Or at least whittles away at my lack of spontaneity. Suddenly, I find myself negotiating with something I promised myself I wouldn’t ever sell again. My heart.
Olivet Pierson
Obtaining his land would be the biggest real estate deal of my career.
Name your price, Mr. Harrington.
The muscular mountain of masculinity isn’t going to get in my way of getting what I want. My future depends on this acquisition. However, after accepting his crazy conditions to spend three rustic nights up on the ridge, my heart is re-evaluating its options.

Fifty year old widower meets 40 year old single lady. He has kids and grandkids whilst she is childless.
She is trying to buy his land which he wont sell. He challenges her to camp on the land with him for 3 nights.
I enjoyed the characters, banter and spice.
The writing was super easy to follow and to get lost in.
The only thing I didn’t like is it was promoted as age gap and older man but really it’s just a romance between two people in their 40’s and early 50’s
Super enjoyable, spicy, fast paced, slow burn story. You’ll either love it or hate it but I’m definitely on the loving it end.
3.5 Stars.
L.B. Dunbar’s SILVER BREWER has many twists for the reader. I really did not know which direction this story was going to take. This is definitely a compliment because one thing this book is not is formulaic. I often stopped and thought about what I would do, and I was driving myself crazy. These characters should be grateful their happy-ever-after played out in a few hundred pages.
Not only do Olivet “Letty” Pierson meets George “Giant” Harrington have very different pasts, their futures look poles apart, that is, until they cross paths and recognise something desirable in the other. There is definitely a physical attraction – and Dunbar certainly delivers on the sexy times – but it’s a lot more than that. Letty and Giant recognised something in each other that was strong enough for them to want to explore. And without giving anything away, the amount of relevant, real-life issues and concerns these two had to wade through is not for the faint-hearted.
I thought Dunbar did a great job in allowing us to understand these characters and what drove them. I was certainly cheering for them to come together even when I could also argue for them to go their separate ways.
There’s certainly more to look forward to in The Silver Foxes of Blue Ridge series. We learn a bit more about Giant’s other brothers and my interest is definitely piqued. Can’t wait for the next one!

George and Olivet are two persons who are at the first sight totally different.
She is a city girl, he is a mountain man.
But the first meeting creates great chemistry, which leads them to spend three night together in the woods.
After three days they found something they both tought is not possible for them, but here we are.
This is the first part of the book, which was funny, entertaining and passionate. I loved it, it shows that Ms Dunbar knows her way to write about passion, relationship and love. That all this exist even after you turn 40 years. That this age doesn't mean you are finished living.
And someway she can put in the story other things people have to solve later in life.
In the second part of this stories both characters are put in front of reality. She wants marriage, child her HEA, he had this, has adult daughters and grandkids and because some misunderstandinds and lack of communication they have to work hard to have theit own HEA.
I loved the part where Olivet gets her baby and that we don't get some dreamy story how this is a perfect situation, but she has to get thrue real reality, of becomimg a parents, struglings, fear of suddenly being alone to solve problems, no help and jugment from own family and insecurities about her possible relationship with George.
But as two mature adults when they understand the importants of communication and are able to discuss everythink and mainly forgive their mistakes they find their HEA.
If you are fan of the romance with heroes over 40 years author Dunbar is the right choice. I enyoed this story very much and I am lookimg to read next stories of this series.
5⭐

LB Dunbar, this is perfection!!
With every book Mrs. Dunbar writes, I love her work more and more. Her stories are credible and real. I can empathize with the characters so well. These people have already lived about half of their lives and made decisions that either deepen during the story or they turn their whole lives upside down to start over. These stories give hope. The characters are brave and determined. Most of the time they know exactly what they want. And to top it all they find love 😍.
Even if they are as different as Letty and Giant. These two are by far my most favorite couple. There's no particular reason, we only clicked 😉. I love them together, they are perfect in each and every way. I love their world view and how compassionate they both are even if they are so different in other ways. I absolutely adore them.
I'm so in love with LB Dunbars writing and her characters, I'm really looking forward to the next book.
