Great for someone who wants to use the FIRETV option only. Horrible at staying locked into an input.
    2 Stars
Great for someone who wants to use the FIRETV option only. Horrible at staying locked into an input.
**EDIT#2**After weeks of having this thing I am highly disappointed. I have found this sound bar to be very troubling when using my Apple TV or PlayStation 4 & 5. It’s come down to every time I hit the “Home button” on my PS Controllers it kicks the sound bar out of the ARC input and defaults it to “FTV”.Which is super annoying, meaning I always have to have the controller near by every time I make adjustments on my system. This item is more practical for someone who is ONLY going to use the FIRETV settings integrated within the sound bar.If you plan to use this sound bar for a VERSITILE OF INPUTS, STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY from this item. It will cause you nothing but frustration due to nature where it constantly only wants to default back to FTV every time. Not worth it, I need something to stay on an input and I WILL CHANGE IT when I am ready, far better options out there for same or less price. Will be returning this ASAP!*EDIT*This bar loses 2 stars after having a 5 star because of the simple fact that this thing wildy changes inputs by itself when already selected to one.For example,If I turn my system to ARC after 5 seconds of "no sound" coming out it will default to FTV which is really annoying. Because I will be playing video games and the moment someone doesn't speak or say anything and I look at my sound bar it is already adjusted to FTV. The worst part is that I can not force it to stay on an input or default to one.I have even turned off the sound bar and it automatically turns on and sets itself to FTV, so I just got so frustrated that finally had to change my review. It is just a really annoying thing to keep reaching for the remote and switching the input when I already have it established to begin with. I strongly suggest Nebula should release and update to allow users to force an input and stay that way without it changing around to FTV all the time.Original review:I read a lot of the reviews on this and many people were disappointed but I was not. This sound bar was very easy to setup and configure to my liking. I do not use the built in fire stick settings that it has, as I saw some people complained about its features. I strictly purchased this for SOUND.Anyway, sound wise this device has been spectacular, it gave me that extra UMPH that I needed for my TV when I play music or watch TV. I barely get to go above sound settings 6-8 and this thing has a small EQ adjustment that overall help the sound bar with Tremble & Bass.Overall this is a solid product and I am a fan of Nebula products so it helped that I already own the Nebula Capsule and had the app to configure this all together.

This is a great speaker. So easy to install and set up. Alexa and Amazon are perfect and work the same as any other Amazon Alexa enabled device.
The quality is amazing, the sound is amazing, and it looks really nice and sleek and takes up very minimal space.

The only main problem I had is that it is not explained in the description or the instructions that it complicates your user experience if you intend to use it in an already Alexa enabled TV. I can’t just use the speaker on the fire tv. The sound won’t go through that way. I have to switch the tv to the hdmi that the speaker is connected to. It wouldn’t be so bad if I could just use ONE REMOTE for both but instead I have to keep up with two different remotes.
Reviewed in the United States on December 9, 2019
Playing around, found that pressing the gear icon on the remote and pressing the down button, I saw that the surround sound was off. Turned it on and also adjusted the bass and treble. Unfortunately, you cannot adjust these very much. Making these adjustments did help a little.

Had sound syncing issues at first, but changed the option ‘Match Original Frame rate’ to On. I do not know why but I have had problems with this option with Fire TVs and my TV. Never had this problem with my Rokus.

For normal TV, the sound is alright, however, I think that has more to do with the apps I am watching TV stations is broadcasting in stereo. When playing Jack Ryan in 4K on Amazon Prime, the sound difference was very noticeable .... a lot better, better bass, better surround. I think you need to set expeditions based upon what you are going to be watching the most.

Yes, I too think that the amount of memory is low. I installed Sling, Netflix, Pluto TV, Crackle, Locast and Tubi. Only 2.5 GB left.

The remote .... hhhmmmm. Yes, there are times, that it seems a little slow. Using the Mute button does not always work the first time. I too would have liked more than Infra Red. The direction button when clicking is kinda loud.

There are times that turning on the sound bar and TV together does not work and gets out of sync. A little annoying to then have to get the TV remote to turn it on.

Would have wished that there was Ethernet on this sound bar. Right now, haven’t seen any issues with WIFi. Just like to have the TV hardwired.

Have noticed that while watching YouTube, the sound eventually get seriously out of sync. I do not know if this is the app or sound bar.

Haven't tried to see if I can add the Soundbar to an Alexa group. I would like to see if I could do this, especially, if I could sync with an Echo Studio If anybody had tried this, I would like to know the results.

    2019-12-15 - Update

Want to like it and keep it, but decided to return it. Got a Fire TV Cube 2nd Gen and a Samsung 2.1 Soundbar with Subwoofer (HW-M435/ZA) for the same price as this unit ... Christmas special prices. Fire TV Cube is faster. Works faster with my Air TV 2. Like that the Samsung soundbar has an HDMI in and out, so you can do sound pass through.

I bought this device in October 2019. It worked well (with mediocre sound) for two and a half years, but then just stopped working. It powers on, but will not open FireTV. I suspect they're not making this device anymore, so it's too late for me to warn people not to buy it!
Reviewed in the United States on July 23, 2021
Soundbar sounds pretty decent once you find the installation & setup instructions online.

    >>>> None found in the box.

Remote seems a bit iffy. Most of the time, I have to manually power on the soundbar in the cases of initial power connection AND if the power went out.

Otherwise, the remote functions, including the power button... HOWEVER, that's NOT really the way it should work. The power button should turn on the soundbar, period... according to the setup instructions.

The soundbar is a bit of a nuisance because there are no mounting screws... NOT the ones for the wall (those are NOT included by design), but the ones to mount the wall brackets to the soundbar!

I contacted the company with this issue and requested the two screws because it's ridiculous to return an item when a company can mail two screws for a few cents... AND because then I'm without the soundbar for another week.

After a power outage, it takes a bit to get it back as the audio Source for my Fire TV.

Not sure why, but that makes it yet another nuisance.

Those things aside, it's a fairly decent soundbar AND might even be better than decent if I could've mounted it on a wall AND where I wanted/needed it.
