I have never felt the need to re-read a book. I know that a lot of readers will read a favorite book many times, but it never was something that appealed to me. Until now. Tethered Love is the conclusion of The Knot Duet and although I read M. Mabie’s Knot when it was first released, I did go back and read Twisted Desire and Tethered Love again.

I hadn’t forgotten what an outstanding story or how wonderfully written it was, but reading it again did remind me of the growing anticipation one has for the feelings that are induced when reading the written word.

Reggie and Nora’s story is so moving with all of its twists and turns, ups and downs and every possible emotion brought forth on the pages as you move through their story. There will be moments you hate, moments of frustration, and then there will be moments that will be you to tears with a heart full of feels.

I highly recommend this duet to anyone that has a need to read something that will give them everything they could ever want from a truly brilliant book.

Tethered Love picks up where book number 1 left off with Reggie and Nora no closer to finding a compromise... these two are so completely opposite from one another, its hard to think they could end up together. It's a little hard (at least to me) to keep up with this writing style.. which turned me off of the book a little bit but all in all, its still a wonderful story. It will take you through every emotion you can think of - these two people who want to be together so badly but have a hard time trying to find a way. Honestly their chemistry will blow you away and you just want to scream so badly at them to get their crap together! But seriously, a wonderful ending to a long journey for these two and you won't be able to put these books down!

Getting to reread this book (originally Knot) has reminded me how much I love author M. Mabie and her writing, especially this story. The Knot duet, especially Tethered Love, is one of her best works to date.
In book 2, Tethered Love, Reagan and Nora's love affair is still unresolved. This book picks up where book 1 left off. Reggie and Nora had a fight and she left. He wanted casual and she wanted picket fences and HEA. Reggie betrayed Nora and really messed over her trust. Because of all that went down, Nora left. Now Reggie realizes he needs her back. Nora was always honest about her thoughts and feelings which when Reggie looked back, he couldn’t blame her for the mess their relationship took. Now Reggie is in a fight to win Nora back and gain her trust again. Will Reggie get Nora back and will they finally get their HEA?

This is a story rife with angst, pain, heartbreak, despair , lust, red hot chemistry, and love. This is one epic conclusion that you do not want to miss.

Getting to reread this book (originally Knot) has reminded me once again just how much I truly adore this story. Clearly Mo Mabie's best work to date, the amount of angst Nora and Reggie suffer through could bring anyone to their knees. And for me, it did over and over again. Yet I was never really frustrated with either of them. I got why their actions were often misguided as they tried to find a way to be together while not losing their souls along the way.

Nora and Reggie define the word stubborn. Each in their own way sabotaged any chance at a real relationship due to fear and prior hurt. Never truly wanting to lose themselves in the other, I definitely wanted to shake some sense into them as they neared the goal of happiness but could never cross over that last hurdle. The author meticulously crafts a journey that was more than heartbreaking at times. But it all felt necessary to achieve the ultimate in satisfaction I felt upon the book's conclusion.

This is never an easy kind of read. Nor is it too dark or depressing. Somehow Mo Mabie strikes the right balance between desperation and joy and does it beautifully.

I am thrilled this story has been re-released as two books, giving me the chance to rediscover the heart-wrenching love that is Nora and Reggie. It is superb.

What an amazing ride! I loved The Knot Duet just as much as the first time reading Knot! Tethered Love was definitely a five star read! Not to mention the cover is HOT! Tethered Love is full of feels. I always love Mo’s writing style.

The characters chemistry was definitely there between Nora and Reggie. They were perfect together. I loved Reggie’s determination. He was the ideal man. Now Nora…what a stubborn woman who was set in her ways.

Nora and Reggie both were learning to love one another. Nora had not been involved with her previous “relationships” and Reggie was willing to learn more about her lifestyle. After getting into a fight they both realize that they do not want to live without each other. Tethered love was a quick read and had my attention from page one until the last page. It was wrote in POV, so we can get inside of Nora and Reggie’s heads.

I have read several books by M Mabie and love every single one. Tethered Love is the second book in The Knot Duet. You will need to read Book one Twisted Desire to get the whole story. I can not wait to see what M has in store next!
