I had never heard of this glue until my wife's friend told her about it. She swore it would fix anything. "Uh-huh," I thought, "I've heard that before." So we ordered some from Amazon to make one final attempt to put one of my wife's favorite vases back together. (As far as you know, I had nothing to do with breaking it!)
I encouraged her not to get her hopes up, since nothing else we had tried worked. But I'll be a monkey's uncle... I came in the next morning, and that vase was stuck together tighter than Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. No, wait. Tighter than Salena Gomez and Justin Bieber. Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore? Well, I'm having a hard time coming up with examples, but the point is... the broken vase was stuck together for good! And I mean stuck!!
Since then I've used this stuff for numerous repairs, and it has never let me down. We even tried it on a pair of my wife's shoes (sandal thingies with a bunch of thin little leather straps running back and forth across her foot. Give me a break... I don't know what they're called!) Anyway, one of those little leather straps came loose from the base of the shoe where it used to be attached. I was convinced no glue would hold that, but what the heck... let's give it a try. To our utter amazement, the strap held, and is still holding several weeks later! Truly unbelievable!
The tube is a little hard to squeeze, but that's because this is some seriously thick, heavy duty glue. And I noticed that some reviewers complained that the glue smells. Um... hello?... it's ridiculously powerful glue. Of course it smells! What did you expect... lavender and peppermint? It's glue, people! If you're not smart enough to understand that you need to take precautions when using heavy adhesives, then you should not be allowed to play with glue!
One final thing. I do think it would apply easier if it had a cone shaped nozzle instead of the flat one it currently has. (Just a little hint for the manufacturer. Wink, wink.) But regardless, this stuff is amazing! If you need to glue anything, even one of your wife's precious vases that you're pretty sure you didn't break... get a tube of this glue and be a hero!
