When I unpacked and assembled this bike, I saw that I was encountering the issue where the front wheel was extremely close and hitting my foot. After a little investigation, I saw that this was because the forks are reversed when shipping. Turn the forks around so the large U bracket is facing forward, and this solves the issue and is how the bike is intended to be assembled as per the manufacturer's pictures.
Outside of this, I am a big guy, 6'2" and 330lbs so far this bike holds me up quite well, I am yet to do any major riding, but I wanted to make a note for everyone since I have seen multiple reviews showing that, but no one has posted a how-to correct this. Simple fix when assembled correctly; it's just not documented by the manufacturer. For the record, I wear a size 14 shoe and have ample space between my foot and the front wheel when turning, simple fix, to poor documentation.

Also found that my toe clip peddles touched the front wheel when going really slow. After reading about it, its something that you just learn to avoid. At faster speeds, its not a problem at all.
Having a great time with this bike. Love the 29" wheels. I rode a lot on Schwinn bikes until I was 17. Now at 61 I'm getting back into it for cardio and general endurance. It's great. Highly recommend it.
One of the first things I would recommend is taking it to a bike shop after assembly for a "tune-up". It won't cost you much ($15-$20) and they can double check all the things you aren't an expert in adjusting. I feel like this saved me tons of potential future issues. Also fixed my chain slip issue by adjusting chain tension I assume.
Overall this bike has been good for trail riding and riding around town. I added a rack to the back and carry baskets on either side for longer trail riding storage or shopping around town, works great.
Also upgraded the pedals to these, I don't like my feet to slip off when it's wet/muddy: https://amzn.to/45zGnVu

Positives:
1. Bike is shipped primarily pre-assembled, so the remaining assembly takes around 30 minutes. The manual is somewhat useless and confusing as it walks you through the assembly process from the scratch. Rather than wasting your time reading it, watch a few short YouTube videos if anything isn't clear
2. It's a good quality bike that will gracefully handle some beating. Shimano EZ shifters are great at changing your gears rapidly and precise to help you tackle different types of terrain, mechanical breaks are excellent, 29' wheels let you build some serious speed and the aluminum frame feels light enough
3. Lastly, the paint job is sharp. Perhaps, it's one of the better looking bikes I owned
Some negatives:
1. Front suspension is fine but cannot be adjusted.
2. Optical gear display shifter shows a red line indicating your gear position. The only numbered gears are "1" and "8", leaving you to guess the gear you're on if you ride on middle gears. I find it annoying that they didn't bother with a bit more descriptive indicator.
3. As mentioned in some other reviews, the seat is NOT comfortable. It's ok for a casual ride but gets really uncomfortable during more serious and longer trips. Do consider upgrading your seat at some point.
4. Derailleurs needed some adjustments and brakes too as they were rubbing disks. Not sure if it really counts as negative as some adjustments are expected, but it can take time to figure them out. You may want to take it to the bike shop to save some hassle
Other observations:
Some people complain about pedals coming off. By looking at their photos I am guessing that they put pedals wrong. Make sure to watch a pedal assembly video before you start if you never had to do it before. It is not as straightforward as it seems.
Foot rubbing front tire at slow speeds l if pedals are parallel to the ground. It never happened on my old 26'er but apparently not something unusual for a close-coupled frame bike like this one. it's called 'toe overlap' and becomes a non-issue as you get used to avoiding it.
Al ensamblarla, hay que tener cuidado con dejar las ruedas bien alineadas. Me tomó un poco de tiempo entender el armado del manubrio, pero en general, el proceso fue razonablemetne simple.
The cons:
The packaging isn't the best, the brake rotors could easily be bent if the box is mishandled during shipping. My box was heavily damaged, thankfuly the only thing that got damaged was the bar the pedal screws into was scratches up.
The biggest con: The way it comes adjusted out of the box is pretty bad, I have experience with working on bicycles, but if someone else were buying this bike in the same condition mine came in and didn't have experience, they would have to bring it to a professional to get it sorted.
The front derailleur was the worst, it was set too low and touching the side of the 3rd gear, that would cause it to not shift at all, I raised it a little, then had to spend around 15 minutes to adjust it until it will shift and downshift into all the gears properly.
One of the front brake pads was very far from the rotor, and the other pad was touching the rotor. Easy to fix, but should have been set at the factory.
The rear derailleur could not downshift into first gear. Also easy to fix, but should not have to.
The seat is not comfortable, it's very hard. It was also pointing down, which is not a big deal, since I would have probably adjusted it anyways, but would have made more sense if they put it level, since most people would use it that way.
Not a con, but no allen (hex) wrenches are included, I'm not sure what sizes are required, I have a box of them and found the ones required by trial and error, ended up needing 4 different sizes of them. You'll also need a 15mm wrench for the pedals and a #2 phillips for the front reflector.
My tires were inflated to around 10 PSI, the tires recoment 25 to 40 PSI, so you'll want a bicycle tire pump or air compressor and a tire pressure gauge.
Some things you might also want to buy: bicycle chain and gear lube (finish line 1 step lubricant for example), a bottle holder and bottle (there's a mount on the bike, but no holder is provided with it), a better seat.
