Clyde and Shys tale is one from childhood to adulthood and as tradgic as it is, its beyond beautiful.
Sapphrire knight knocks it out the park again.

Ya'll - I LOVED this one!!! Clyde and Shyla were an amazing couple. A lot of HEAT, a lot of laughs, tears and even a bit of mystery. It was great southern charm all the way through. I'm a sucker for a cowboy hat, so the cover immediately drew me in - holy cow it's hot and beautiful and I can't WAIT to have a copy on my bookshelf! This book is a second chance romance - Clyde and Shyla were high school sweethearts, he was the football star, she the cheerleader and the "plan" was to head off to college together. Until the plan changed - and Clyde was blindsided. Fast forward and Shyla returns but is Clyde willing to listen and open his cold, closed heart? Great writing, great burn, great heat. Can't wait for more~!!

Sapphire is one of my go to authors and this story was amazing, I loved Clyde from the beginning of this series. His personality drew me right in. Shyla is girl you really want to hate, however I found myself cheering her on to get her man. This one left butterflies in my stomach. Sapphire writes with such feeling she makes you feel you are a part of the story.

I loved Clyde from the very beginning and wanted to strangle Shyla, but following their story, I grew to love her. What would you do for the people you love? It's a slow burn (in my opinion) but also understandably so. There is a great storyline, and I don't feel like any information is missing. However, I wish that the epilogue was longer because I wanted more and to see if they would have babies, but that's because I'm greedy. Will be recommending this series to friends!
