Quality Control: Nailed It !!!!

Quality Control: Nailed It !!!!
This is the worst quality control Ive ever seen on any product. When I first saw it I felt like I got ripped off. Its really bad and the closer I look at it, the worse it gets. Having said that, its a target. We literally buy them to shoot holes in so complaining about how it looks sounds kind of crazy. As long as it stops my 4mm arrows I can live with the poor looks. Im not mad about the looks but Im going to buy another brand in the future. If a company cares so little about quality control, I have to wonder if their foam mixture suffers from time to time also. This target may stop my arrows but the next one like it may not. Quality control is a company wide issue. If its suffering in one area, theres a high probability its suffering in others. For a nearly $200 target, its simply easier to buy another brand than to worry whether Im going to get the one target that is going to fail quickly.2.5 month UPDATEThe target has held up well. Ive blown out all the dots on the center insert so it no longer stops my arrows. This is the best Ive had a target hold up for me. Ive shot thousands of arrows in the past 2.5 months (generally 100 arrows per day). I was upset when the target showed up looking so bad but it has performed well. I will be buying another one along with a replacement core for this one. I have upgraded the rating from 1 star to 4 star. If it didnt look like a 3 yr old finger painted it, it would have 5 stars.

1.0 out of 5 stars Pretty bad. Didn’t shoot it
Reviewed in the United States on August 19, 2018
See pictures. Got talked into this target by a couple guys after poking around at cheaper alternatives. I was told, “You get what you pay for.” And I got a P.O.S... The mold flash was barely shaved anywhere, and one side of the target has a 1/4” height difference on each side of the seam. I don’t know if that tube is typically left in the target, but it’s not something I’d prefer to hit. Paint and over spray looks awful. I really hope this is an anomaly, because I’m going to have it replaced.

Update: Replacment showed up. Same thing but not AS bad. Called Rhino and asked how bad the seams were expected to be. “Oh, that’s from the mold.” No S.... Both halves still aren’t flush and looks like poop. Did learn that the tube is to hold the replaceable section. For the money, I thought the quality control would be significantly better. I’ll shoot it anyways, but I won’t buy anything else from them.

Oh yeah, the pictures don’t show seams because, “The models are usually made from clay.”
