After another listen today in my car while running errands blasting WANYK I've decided to change my review from 4 out of 5 to 5 out of 5 stars! We Are Not Your Kind is the newest Slipknot album, experimental LP. To me though it's like Vol 3.: Subliminal Verses Pt 2. Which is one of my favorites, if I had to list in order my favorite Slipknot albums it go something like this.
1. Vol 3. Subliminal Verses
2. Iowa
3. We Are Not Your Kind
4. All Hope Is Gone
5. Slipknot
6. .5 The Gray Chapter
It's really hard for me to make this list because I enjoy listening to all of their music, must this would be my favorites list in order.
If your a Slipknot fan, and enjoy Vol 3. then I highly recommend this. Overall this is a great album for any metal fan!

There are a few easy ways of telling if you have Amazon's cheap knock-off. The immediate giveaway is the Slipknot logo is missing from the cover. The booklet and inserts have been laser-jet printed on cheap paper (you can plainly see the raised borders of the ink around the graphics). Another easy thing to spot is the "Manufactured by Amazon" tag above the barcode on the back of the case -- impossible to read without a magnifying glass, too (of course). And the last thing I noticed was the label credits has been cutoff at the bottom -- it should have 2 lines of credits but the bottom line has been cut off. A quick look at the actual disc and you'll notice that it's actually a CD-R. Not what I paid for...at all. And this practice has apparently been OK'd by the label, too
Frankly, I'm appalled that this practice is being allowed. Paying full-price for an "official bootleg" without letting customers know that they're receiving an officially-sanctioned inferior product sounds like a class-action lawsuit waiting to happen.
***Update*** The replacement that was sent was indeed an official release, so I will be changing my review rating. Also, it has been pointed out to me that there actually is a notice on the product page indicating that this is manufactured by Amazon. It's not very obvious unless you're looking for it specifically (which I definitely will be in the future) but it is definitely there -- something a little more noticeable should probably be employed to make sure people see this, like maybe a warning when finalizing the purchase. Just a thought. Kudos to Amazon for correcting the issue so quickly.
