Seems a very solid unit. Lots of little menu items you can pretty much ignore. Just push little button and stick it on the finger and it works. Take it off and it shuts down all by itself (so write down reading before removing!). May have memory of last readings, I frankly have not bothered to look. . Back a bit tricky to get off the first time to put in the supplied batteries. Great display. Nice little case and lanyard. Small display but fine contrast and surprisingly easy to read for its size. Shows you confidence (in very tiny numbers) as it accumulates data but seems to settle rapidly. Since it is self contained it is fatter than the ones used in hospitals which are wired and do not need batteries. Pulse display is very nice.

My pulse oximeter arrived with bad batteries, but when I reached out to the MeasuPro customer service they were amazingly helpful. The unit would come on, but the minute you tried to take a reading it would shut off. I tested the batteries with multimeter and they looked good. Fearing a defective unit, I contacted customer service who quickly replied and suggested trying new batteries. I put a pair of new Duracells in and voila! It worked perfectly. The best part was that Measurpro refunded me for the cost of purchasing the batteries.

What I like about the unit - the alerting feature is great, not many units have this. I also like how you can see the Perfusion index and heartbeats in bar graph format.The display is easy to read and the rotate screen feature is very useful. My one wish is that the screen would auto-rotate instead of having to push a button.

Would buy this again.

Seems to be very accurate (as checked against chest strap and blood pressure monitor) and I like the programmable alarms. Feel more quality made than the cheap "store brand" oximeter I was using which developed some inconsistencies after only a few months. The only downside is the MeasuPro OX250 wants you to QUIT moving around when it is taking your readings, which is possibly why it is so accurate.

My primary usage for this is to verify if the optical sensor on my Fenix 3 HR is giving me correct readings when it is showing high as I have had some issues with tachycardia.

I had been looking for a simple digital pulse meter to be able to do simple spot check of both resting and during exercise and this one covered what I was looking for. Unit seems very durable. Display is very easy to read and can be rotated to desired orientation. I also like the bar graph and battery meter. Unit shuts off very quickly after use to preserve battery when finger removed. I had read previous reviews so didn't have any problem figuring out how to install the provided AAA batteries. This has a feature that I wasn't initially looking for (oxygen saturation level) and I haven't tried changing the alarm level settings yet but these features did not affect ease of use. No longer trying to estimate pulse rate with fingers on wrist or neck!

This product is easy to read, compact, and accurate, and it has lasted for years. I have lung issues and routinely test my blood oxygen levels to make sure all is well. While traveling to visit my parents, my dad started behaving strangely, as if he was disoriented. Recognizing the signs of hypoxia, I grabbed my O2 meter and tested him on the spot. His O2 was dangerously low so I rushed him to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with and treated for a blood clot in his lung. If I had not been able to test his O2 so easily we may have not acted quickly enough. This little device literally helped us save his life.

I like this Pulse Ox so much I ordered one for my 84 yr old mother that has had aortic valve replacement so needs to keep track of her heart stats while exercising. Me too on exercising. This product exceeded my expectation by alot! Very well made. Easy to load batteries. Good size numbers to read if older. Even tells Perfusion Index which is an extra. You can change about anywhere the data appears, brightness level, set alarms for low's and high's. All with ONE button. Instructions are pretty good. My ONLY complaint IS, the paper directions are so small in print that I could read them even with 3.0 readers. I had to get a magnifying lens plus the 3.0 and still difficult. My eye sight is not that made at 63, its the font on the directions. Please if you could get the directions blown up in size because alot of your orders are from the older folks. Thats my only beef. great product, very accurate. Not a toy like alot of these are on here.

Ich finde das Gerät für die Überwachung der Lungenfunktion sehr hilfreich. Ich hatte mal leider eine Lungenentzündung die nicht hörbar war. Hätte ich das Gerät dazumal schon gehabt, dann wäre ich viel schneller drauf gekommen, dass etwas nicht passt. Derzeit verwendet es meine Frau, weil sie eine auch eine Lungenentzündung hatte und es einfach fein ist, sofortige Kontrolle zur Verfügung zu haben. Es innerhalb kürzester Zeit einsatzbereit und nach ein paar Sekunden hat man auch schon ein Ergebnis. Batteriewechsel ist auch einfach und man braucht nur normale AAA Batterien.

Prima apparenza un buon design la grandezza dello strumento é giusta (spesso o son troppo grandi e viceversa....) materiali di lavorazione buoni , percepisco una certa leggerezza quindi evitate di farlo cadere .... , il primo passo é l'inserimento batterie aprendo il coperchio sottostante facendo levasu un insenatura visibilissima ... una volta fatto e rinchiuso troviamo il display con un bottone , serve ad accenderlo, mentre con una pressione più lunga ad entrare nel menu ricco di impostazioni , possiamo decidere quando deve emettere un suono per avvisarci di parametri fuori linea ....praticamente personalizzabile in tutto ! Io consiglio di lasciare i parametri predefiniti.... , nella parte misurazione nella parte dove inseriremo il dito oltre al laser é presente un ottimo rivestimento antigrip sopra e sotto per mantenere il dito fermo , premiamo il pulsante e in pochi secondi abbiamo la rilevazione battito e ossigeno , il tutto visibile chiaramente dal dysplay oled con indicazione livello batteria , cmq per osservazioni a lunga durata abbiamo sempre i parametri di avviso ! , utilizzabile per sport , monitorazioni continue ed anche solo per vedere se i nostri parametri siano apposto ....grazie alla pressione del tasto é possibile cambiare vista e modalità di visualizzazione premendo ripetutamente cambia anche il grafico del battito per meglio scegliere la situazione più idonea , per spegnerlo basta togliere il dito per qualche secondo .,
Un ossimetro é importante che sia presente in tutte le case , non é un giocattolo bensì uno strumento che fa parte del kit che deve esser sempre disponibile in caso di malessere o varie situazioni per aver un primo livello di monitorazione , ovviamente deve esser idoneo , non si compra il primo che passa .... codesto ossimetro non posso definirlo professionale da ospedale , ma é ottimo nella precisione , funzionamento con allarmi ecc...per poterlo definire uno strumento completo offerto ad un prezzo modico , ne ho visti molti con prezzi stellari per un risultato scadente o minimale..... Vorrei invitarvi a provarlo per capire le sensazioni che mi ha trasmesso , completamente soddisfatto !
