Took the pack out with me to a spot on the river where it flows through large rocks, about 20‘ climb down to get to the water. My hope was to avoid leaving items unattended while I swam/climbed and to eat my lunch wherever I happened to be when hungry. It worked beautifully- enough room for two people‘s food and drink, floated nicely, and everything inside remained dry until I tried to squeeze through a passage in the rocks where I really should have taken it off first. It got a small puncture/abrasion from being dragged along that surface, but nothing that can’t be easily patched, and the hole did not get notably larger or run the way tights do when torn despite my continuing to carry it along. Small enough hole that the bag still floated and my stuff was not soaked through by the end of the day.
I just ordered two more so next time my kid and I go anywhere with water, we can have all our stuff on us without leaving it unattended or having to return to any given spot- very useful when everyone and his cousin suddenly shows up and one wishes to relocate to a less crowded spot! Now we can just swim to the less popular side instead of having to climb over humans and their stuff in addition to the rocks.
Advise having duct tape or bike tire patch kit on hand if there is a chance of the pack getting dragged along/into rocks or other sharp/rough surfaces, overall the thing was exactly what I was looking for.

Loved that I could use as a backpack!
Okay so to start off with, I definitely recommend not to use the transparent version if it gets really hot! I used this while rafting in high of 75 degree sunny weather and could tell the effect it was causing on the backpack, it just seemed as if the material was getting softer. They do mention this in the description but I didn’t think mid 70s was considered that “hot”.It was definitely good size, I had a mini throw in there, my iPad, phone, a book, and a light sweater and was definitely not stuffed.Dryness; all my items stayed dry and water did not enter so that was a plus but it was not submerged in water so not sure exactly how it would’ve been if it had beenThe only reason why I’m giving it 3 stars and not 5 is because the seams where the straps are seem to be tearing or like they wouldn’t last much longer which is a disappointment cuz u really loved the idea of this and the fact that I could use as a backpack.

We sometimes hit the water in a little inflatable raft, so a quality dry bag is a necessity. It is a little bit on the heavy side, but I think that speaks for the quality of construction. The the see-through pink looks really good, too. It keeps our things dry, and you can leave some air in there to make it float, too.
Highly recommend! I love it. I will definitely recommend this to my friends who need a drybag.

Great deck bag for the price. Waterproof and plenty of strapping to mount it to my kayak. This bag is large enough for all my essentials and more. Once strapped to the deck of my kayak it stayed secure and was easy to access without removing it from the deck. All my contents stayed dry. Overall I think this is a great deal for a dry bag or deck bag.
