These are well written and entertaining books that captivate your attention.

This is a suspenseful series. I read the first book and have now completed book two. I figured out the twist beforehand, but only because of the title of the book. It was a great roller coaster ride following the band of believers as they would come up against struggles and losses as they try to survive hiding in the wilds and make it through the tribulation.

I have trouble liking the main character Willow, I feel an 18 year old bossing everyone of every age around is silly, she was not more experienced and just because She is gifted with prophecy should not make her bossy and totally un-humble just the opposite .
I feel sure the “mark”must include an act of worship or disavowing God and or Jesus so the whole act of running away from the mark here makes no sense as they were only forced to take it and not worship anything or anyone.
there are so many bothersome things, young girls strong beyond belief and a normal family dog that suddenly becomes able to hide or heel for someone not even his master.
wild animals everywhere and yet the day after extreme drama willow nonchalantly lets an inexperienced person go fishing alone.
Anyway flaws and all I still have read the second book although I do think I will stop here.

This book is hard to put down. In an age of apostasy it seems that every book is filled with sexual permissiveness and filthy language. It is refreshing to find a really good book that is well thought out and entertaining. Though the story is fictional it is based on biblical prophesy, and a narrative that comes from these trying times of today. This is a great read and I would recomend it to anyone, whether they are a Christian or not.

As I read these books I think about the verses in Daniel and RevelationsGod is an awesome God and will always watch over us!

This series is wonderful and absolutely captivating. Just like the first book, I read every moment I have the chance inhaling the story line. Well written. Enough detail to paint a visual picture but not to bog you down. The presence and working of prayer and God's defense and guidance is right on! This could definitely happen in real life.

This was a great follow up to the first book, and I have thoroughly enjoyed the continuing story and characters. One thing I did notice in this book compared to the first was it seemed the characters lack of trust in God or seeking Him in prayer compared to the first book. Now maybe that was the authors intent, as most believers can go through times where we trust in ourselves or things in the world instead of God. I hope that this was the case, as I loved how in the first book they relied so much on prayer and God's direction. Great book still and eagerly waiting for the next in the series.

Great transition from Book 1. I’m hooked now. The story is full of twists and turns. The characters are maturing in their challenging environment. Makes me think how I’d do.
