A whole new world of gaming
I have been intrigued by the VR for a long time but never wanted to commit financially. It’s expensive for just being curious. I finally decided to try it though to play the new Resident Evil 7 game. The VR did not disappoint. There are hardly ways to describe how the VR impacts gaming, needless to say I am less drawn to normal console games now. This transports you elsewhere. However I understand those of you that are on the fence about this product so let me break down the pros and cons:Pros:Each game transports you to another world. Each game is interactive and takes more energy to play than your standard game. It will have you moving across your living room. It’s sucks you in. The two games that are included are amazing. Superhot is like the Matrix. You will be dodging bullets left and right trying to survive. Meanwhile Creed is a massive workout. Boxing is a ton of work and when you get in a match you are going to be bouncing all over the place avoiding the hits.Cons: Although new content is still coming out, many VR games are short. Many VR users are waiting for more premium content to come out as a lot of it is more in the horror genre. Another big con is the mess of wires it comes with. It took a long time for me to set this stuff up and if you have a receiver a whole new complication gets added. The VR doesn’t like to run through receivers so setting up your surround sound can be difficult. Finally, the Move controllers are only needed for some of the VR games. Unless there are specific VR games you want that require them, go for the other set that doesn’t include them. First person shooters actually want the “Aim Controller” versus the Move Controller so know what games you want before you commit to this package deal. Otherwise you might be spending 50$ you don’t need to.Overall my experience has made me want to further dive into VR rather than investing in other games. This is worth the investment.
