This little drum kit sounds incredible and is such fun to play. The kick drum is so much bigger and deeper then most other small kits on the market. I don’t care for the snare drum too much but that’s not really a problem because I have different snares that I can use in its place. The price that I paid for this sweet little kit has doubled since I bought them.. I’m so glad that I got them for the deal that i paid. Overall, I love this little kit!!!
Okay. So I love my kit the way I have it now. I’d say this kit gets you about 70% there. It’s a beautiful kit first off. Here is what I did to it. First put lithium grease on the all the rods. It’s possible you’ll have one or two rods that will strip out so you might have to buy some replacements if you don’t have any laying around. I took the resonant heads off of the toms and put the batters on the bottom. I replaced the batter Tom heads with emperors. Regular emperor on Tom Tom and pinstripe on floor Tom. I found the floor Tom likes to be tuned low and the Tom Tom to a higher pitch so it can sing. I put Evans emad on bass batter and kept stock reso . I also bought the Gibraltar bass drum riser so the beater can hit sweet spot. My least favorite part of the kit is the snare drum. I just could never get it to sound good so I use my Ludwig jazz festival snare with it. I also put floor Tom isolation feet on two of the three legs of floor Tom and put a bunch of cotton balls in the floor Tom too. Love this kit. If you can get it on sale and out a little time into it you can have a sweet little kit with a big sound.
This is an awesome little drum kit. I got mine from Guitar Center for $250. The heads were in the bottom of the box with everything else on top of them. Also had to grease the lugs. Once the new heads were on and tuned, they sounded awesome. If you're thinking about going to a smaller kit for around $300, then these are a great choice. The 13x13 floor Tom has a really good growl and the snare has a nice pop for a 13 inch. The 10 inch Tom warm and responsive. The 18x16 bass is surprisingly punchy and sounds as good as some 20's & 22's I've heard. I installed a kickport in the bass drum and it really makes it sound solid. Check em out...
Great kit for the price, the only bad thing it's the snare, it really need some work for it to be able to sound decent, but everything else sound great, I barely tuned it when I got out the box and the toms sound great, I can't imagine how they will sound with some Evans heads.

this set is basically good, the hardware is junky had to replace the tom mount and legs with Gibraltar legs , i put evans hydraulic heads on the toms and a evans hd dry on the snare , the snare is just not too good but it's usable. but the toms and kick drum sound good with the new heads.
Pros: 18" bass with no raised hoop; regular bass pedal from my 22" goes right on. Rubber-mounted lugs, heavy bass spurs, collar tom mount and woods are all higher level features. Cons: Poor support from SPL when my snare had a damaged lug.
