Just what I wanted
I purchased these mainly because I had a full bottle of windex with a nozzle that no longer worked. I bought these so I could have a replacement and to organize my cleaning supplies a little more. I like that the sides of these bottles give you a way to label what they are in a way that looks consistent across your spray-on cleaning products. The compact shape of these bottles makes them easier to organize than with the insconsistency of default sprayers. It has boxes on the side such as 'glass cleaner' 'all purpose' 'degreaser' and a few others. There is also a large blank space you could use to right the actual name of the product and maybe write the uses or some instructions (useful for kids/husbands when you are away). I also like these because I prefer to buy my cleaning supplies in bulk (Costco) and would rather have refillable bottles which is probably more environmentally friendly to at least some extent.I do not have any cons about his product, it is simply what I expected.

Great bottles and sprayers. A strong even spray that does not tire my hand when spraying large areas. I have used these, daily, for two months with no problems at all.

I read all the negative reviews... and they seem to be from people who might not really understand the mechanics of sprayers. Years ago I owned a commercial cleaning business with many employees and one of the regular monthly purchases I made was sprayer heads. Every single month. Not the bottles, because the bottles last. But spray heads just don't.

Because cleaning ingredients corrode them. Always. No way around it. The springs in these sprayers are regular steel -- not stainless steel or anything else that might be impervious for a time. Anything will corrode them -- even water. The bottles can be used for years... but the sprayer heads have a very limited life span, sometimes only a few weeks. Well, except for alcohol. I have one bottle I have used for years that I use for disinfecting containing only about 80% rubbing alcohol with a bit of organic lavender oil. That one does not corrode.

Vinegar -- is an ACID! I can't think why someone would expect a spray mechanism to hold up for any length of time. Bleach -- corrosive to most everything. Again, put a corrosive with a metal and what do you THINK will happen?

Sprayer heads need regular replacing because they can not last against corrosives or acids or many other liquids. If you want to spray "friendly" acids around your house, just buy some extra sprayers. If terribly concerned about price... go to a local janitorial supply place. They sell big bags of just the replacement sprayer heads without the bottles. Why? Because sprayers heads die. They just do.

I bought several dozen of these bottles. Initially I was happy with everything about these bottles. I am now on the 6th bottle breaking. I had to come back an update my review to make sure others knew what they were getting into.

The issue on all the bottles has been the nozzle which does not stand the test of time let alone the test of rigorous use. The single stream no longer exists and instead the bottle will spray just as if you unscrewed the nozzle completely. The nozzle seems to come apart in the middle so one wouldnt even notice what was going on until they sprayed.

Everything else is great, the size, the style, the power of the stream. But 6 bottles breaking. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Coming from separate orders. (I placed multiple). There is a reason this squirt bottle is not 5 stars when all it needs to do is operate properly. The reviews reflect the poor quality (in my case all 6 times just the nozzle)

My solution is just buy more nozzles. But I'll never order this product again.

If you see any reviews that reflect otherwise then the chances are it is just a person who wrote their review quickly and did not come back to update it after the bottles failure. I'd bet every 5 star review is now a 1 or 2 star if they remember to check back in.

UPDATE: Apparently , every spray bottle doesnt last. No where on Amazon there exist a superior spray bottle solution nor can I find one on the internet.

In light of all products in this category being a different variation of "bad" this product deserves 3 stars. Because it isnt horrible and my problems with it were fixed so far by getting nozzles.

The first time I bought these was a few years ago. One of those is still going strong and the other is limping along. But I bought a 3-pack in April. Within a month, 2 of the handles stopped spraying. The 3rd one just stopped. The mechanism becomes disconnected and then the trigger no longer works. It is now only 3 months later and they are all broken. I would not purchase these again.

So far I've used this to spray water and soapy water, on the fine mist setting. The mist quality is quite good, and I can squeeze hard and expect a nice, high-pressure (within reason) output. I've sprayed maybe a dozen full bottles worth and never noticed a drop of leakage. Every other sprayer I've ever tried leaks.

The intake hose reaches to within a centimeter of the bottom. I can tilt the bottle any direction, and it sprays just fine as long as there's water at the hose bottom. Since I spray up, down, and all around, I often find myself with air at the bottom, and obviously that kills the water output, but that's no fault of the manufacturer.

Now, I also have a different sprayer that I think gives a very slightly better mist--a perfect mist--but that sprayer drips.

Sometimes I have a tad of difficulty twisting the top on correctly. It sometimes wants to twist kind of askew, and if I let that happen the bottle can fall out while I spray. But this is a minor problem; I've always been able to twist the top on correctly when paying attention to the issue.

I use these spray bottles for many items.

I have Asthma and many chemicals in assorted sprays send my lungs into a coughing or wheezing fit.

I use all three spray bottled.

1. Window cleaner a 50/50 solution of water and white distilled vinegar.

2. All purpose cleaner water and Citrasolv I use this for removing stains on carpets to cleaning boil overs in the microwave.

3. I can't tolerate many of the flea and tick sprays, or shampoo for dogs. I make my own flea and tick spray for dogs. 2.5 ml Neem oil, 1 ml Dawn dishwashing detergent, and 1 pint (480 ml) water. Shake well and spray onto dog and rub into the fur.

I like the fact that the bottles have a large opening so adding ingredients is easy.

My one and only complaint about these spray bottles is.

These bottles hold 24 FL OZs but the marks on the side only goes to 18 OZs. With CitraSolv I am supposed to use 22 OZs water. I measured 22 OZs and drew a line with my sister's fingernail polish.
