This is a great wireless network card especially if you want to upgrade your PC to handle 802.11n band networking. The installation and setup was very easy. Even though I am a highly experienced computer, networking and electronics "geek", I have no doubts that a user with very little experience inside PC hardware could do this. It is a standard PCI slot insertion and you're ready to go. Drivers installed without a problem using Windows 7 Home 32-bit.

This was installed on a six-year old HP desktop PC. It is my mother's computer and at the same time I upgraded her home router. The computer did not come with any kind of wireless network card and she was using an external USB wireless network receiver with an older router (also six-years old) that had begun to fail. Since the new router was n band, it made sense to upgrade her receiver for the PC to take advantage of the dual-band router's abilities.

The three antennas should be placed in three different directions (just like the picture) to get the best signals from different planes. (For those who didn't know: radio signals--which include wi-fi network signals--are directional. This means that they could be horizontal or vertical in direction--called "polarity" in radio speak.) The three antennas provide for better reception which means a stable signal for the user. Faster internet, isn't that what it's all about?

The speed is noticeable. I probably saved my mother from having to upgrade her computer for few more years. If you think that your internet browsing is slower than it should be (especially on an older computer) consider upgrading the network card.

I am very happy with Amazon and this seller (MYeHut Inc.).

I originally bought this card to replace a PCIe card (Asus N-15) that I had bought about 6 months earlier. My problem wasn't that that particular card was bad, it was simply using a slot that I did not have enough of in my computer so I had to seek out one that fit a regular PCI slot. I bought this card because, just like it says in the description, it offers a fairly high connection speed and range.

I am using this on a computer that I have built myself which actually runs two operating systems; Windows 7 and Fedora 16 (both 64 bit). The installation was easy enough and the only problem was that the bracket had a slight bend which only took a little bit of force to rectify. when I started up my computer I had simply to insert the disk and the installation was extremely straight forward. The only strange part was that the disk did not carry the 64 bit versions of the utilities; it only had the 64 bit drivers. Luckily though the drivers are all you would need. After installation, the software requires that the system be restarted which is required by almost all software. once installed it was a simple task of typing in my routers password and it connected fairly quickly. the only strange part is that the icon at the bottom right hand corner of the screen which represents the network connection on a PC still shows as unconnected, even though when I move my cursor over it the pop up box says that it is connected, which it is. Then again it is the first day so this may change after the computer is powered down again.

Over all I would rate this product 4/5 stars. While it is a very fast and obviously capable piece of hardware It arrived with a slightly bent bracket, and, while that wasn't a problem, the fact that it did not come with the 64 bit utilities and the malfunction it caused of the Wi-Fi icon have brought me to conclude that it could do better. However, it is still a good buy for the money and I would recommend this to any friend who was in market.

I moved my PC away from a convenient Ethernet connection, so I put a Netgear wireless card in it (a WPN311). The connection was crummy - lots of drop outs and the speed was undependable. That card is 802.11g only.

I figured I'd upgrade my access point and card to 802.11n and get more range. Well, I did the card first, with this TL-WN951N (based on my research that it would work with the ath9k 100% open-source drivers), and instantly I had a fast solid connection (64%) to my existing access point. I didn't even have to fiddle with Network Manager at all - after starting up the machine it connected right away to my existing connection. This is on Fedora 14, so anything later than that should be fine.

The connection is so good, I forgot for a moment I'm typing this on a VNC connection to work over my DSL. With the old card everything was very laggy. I'll probably upgrade the access point anyway, but there's no rush now.

The card does everything I could have asked for and I found it easy to install (Lian Li case). The price is plenty fair (better than the ovum), and with Prime I didn't have to wait. Perfect.

Installation: Popped it in an open PCI slot on my motherboard, booted up, Windows 7 found it and automatically installed some driver, and boom, done! I have no idea if Windows installed the correct driver, but so far it works perfect... So I don't really care. I'll fix it if anything goes wrong :P

Speed: I have 30Mbps internet, and using an online speed test with this card got me exactly that (at about 15 feet from the router with one wall in the way). For reference, my older laptop's WiFi only ever hits about 25Mbps using the same test. I can't comment on its claimed 300Mbps speed, because I don't have any other networked device capable of keeping up enough to test that, and nobody's internet is that fast... But I expect it should at least come close when used with something else that's equally fast.
Also, reception seems to be very good. I doubt they really need all 3 of those antennae, but hey, it works.

Quality: No idea! I've only had it a few days now, so we'll see how long this thing lasts. Build quality seems good so I hope I don't have any issues for a long time.

Shipping: My only complaint is that it shipped without any packaging... None. Just the retail box with a shipping label slapped on it. Thought that was incredibly strange, but nothing happened to it so I can't complain too much.

5.0 out of 5 stars Was man von einer PCI Karte erwarten sollte!
