Chai Gold is so much better. Try that instead. They have it available in Plain, Masala, Elaichi and Saffron. And they have it both sweetened and Unsweetened. Masala is my favorite. Even the smell of Chai Gold is so strong and refreshing. It is awesome. It tastes just like how my mom makes it. And unfortunately I live away from my mom, and this chai reminds me of her awesome chai every morning.

I have read some other negative reviews on this. I have to disagree with those. One mistake I made early on was using too much water. Instructions say 8oz, which is not a full cup. When using right amount (or less if you want it richer and sweeter), it does taste good. Can't compare it to using fresh cardamom and tea on a stovetop, but for work it works perfectly and really hits the spot!

For over 2 decades now, my husband and I start our mornings with freshly brewed indian tea with spices. Ajmera's XPress Chai product is the only substitute that we would even consider if we need to change this routine or when we have chai cravings during the day/at work. I have served this drink also at 2 large 400+ person events, and the reviews from our guests were very favorable for the chai and the mango drink. The proportion of water needs to be customized to your taste, so keep that in mind. I'm looking forward to trying this innovative company's other products as well.
