About the author

Norm Levy’s long career with the world’s leading advertiser taught him the power of an arresting headline and the value of compressed communication—occasionally leavened by a smidge of humor. He has written riffs on news headlines for decades for publication and for open mike venues. Norm is a published Country Western and Blues songwriter. He has also put his writing and communication skills to work on major Public Service campaigns, and he is a faculty member of the U. S. Marketing Communications College at the U. S. State Department. In an earlier incarnation he served with U. S. Army Counterintelligence.
He holds degrees from New York University and Columbia University. He has traveled widely and has worked in thirty-one countries. He now resides with his wife, Joan, on beautiful Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
