I'm very excited to announce my first biography for new readers! I'm a writer who loves to research, so it was really fun to write The Story of Abraham Lincoln. He was also a big hero to my Dad who had many biographies of Abraham and kept a print of a very famous photograph of him in his office.

Iguess what surprises most people about me is that I'm also a trapeze performer. I've performed in a number of shows in New York City and in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Couldn't love this book more! I've read this to my classes (3, 4, AND 5th) and they have ALL loved it every single year! I still chuckle that the only reason I knew about this book is because I found it on a random search of my new, inherited classroom library. Such a great find!

From a reading standpoint, it's fabulous for many reasons, not least of which is that as a reader you are constantly challenged to "switch gears". Sometimes the chapter is Wishbone as a dog and sometimes he's Ichabod Crane. From a comprehension and inferring standpoint, it's amazing and the kids get so into it! I read it every year and time it for Halloween so that at our party, we can watch the movie. If you're lucky enough, grab the move! It's wonderful and follows the book to a tee. Wishbone was a phenomenal idea both as a show, as well as chapter books.

This book is scary, classical, fun, and one of the best books. It's anything you would want. This book is the best!!!

Joe, Wishbone, Samantha, and David go on a scavenger hunt to win a $100 gift certificate for Oakdale sports and games.

This reminds Wishbone of the Classic tale, The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow by: Washington Irving. Then Wishbone imagines himself as Ichabod Crane, a superstitious person in the story.
