Product Description

Product Description

Sleek and stylish, this rectangular deep-dish baker by Le Creuset brings both beauty and versatility to any kitchen collection. The large 4-quart dish, which measures 10-1/2 by 13-1/4 by 2-1/2 inches, provides extra capacity with its higher sidewalls, making it ideal for deep, layered recipes like lasagna and other family favorites. It also comes with an easy-grip rim on all sides for added control when lifting or carrying.

Made from durable stoneware, the dish features a hard-wearing, impermeable finish fired at temperatures as high as 2192 degrees F. With a porosity level of less than 1 percent, the baker blocks moisture absorption, so there's no chipping, cracking, crazing, or rippling along the interior to worry about. Its non-porous construction also resists odors, scratching, and staining for hygienic use and optimal cooking performance. Even more, its high-quality enamel protects against metal marks and other damage, which means it's safe for cutting on with knives. Best of all, the colorful glaze on the exterior makes the dish fun to mix and match with other coordinating Le Creuset pieces (sold separately), while a neutral-colored glaze on the inside offers a pleasing contrast and an optimal palette for food presentation. And thanks to its unmatched thermal resistance from -65 degrees F to 500 degrees F, the dish moves gracefully from the microwave or oven (or under the broiler) to the table for serving to the refrigerator or freezer for storing leftovers. When finished, the deep-dish baker cleans up easily by hand or in the dishwasher.

Enchiladas and lasagna serve up spectacularly in this classic rectangular baking dish. Take the dish right out of the freezer or refrigerator, place it in the oven, microwave, or even under the broiler, and it's ready to take center stage on the table. Made of commercial quality stoneware and coated with colorful porcelain enamel, the dish tolerates oven temperatures up to 500 degrees F and resists scratching, chipping, staining, and cracking. A generous rim on all sides ensures a good carrying grip when hot. Like all Le Creuset ware, this baking pan is dishwasher-safe. --Ann Bieri

While more expensive. this is a great lasagna pan. The best part is, packaging was AWESOME. I was very apprehensive about purchasing this since it was a Christmas gift for my partner. It arrived, after inspection it was flawless. Very happy with this!
Cooking with it is a dream! & Easy cleanup!

Beautiful dish, large capacity and even cooking-what more could you ask? I bought this because of a MAJOR 'Friday' sale at Amazon. My only regret is that I did not buy more at that price! Terrific dish!

I oredered this as a gift for my sister. She said she didn't bother opening it, because she could hear the broken pieces. She sent it back, no problem. UPS said it was not them (outside packing was fine), that the company did not pack properly, esp. for ceramic. I am disappionted that a gift had to be returned.

Much smaller than expected. Dimensions included a large lip on each end which was a bit misleading . I returned it as a result.

I had this product shipped out to me - twice. Both times it arrived broken. I finally went to my nearest Le Creuset outlet store and bought one in person. Great product, but postal carrier didn't do a good job of handling.

It's larger than the standard sized lasagna pans! Bakes great and is so easy to clean, not to mention that it looks great. If you're going to be using it a lot it's worth it.

I HAVE BEEN MAKING LASAGNA FOR YEARS AND MY VERY BEST RESULTS WERE FROM USING LE CREUSET. IT DISTRIBUTES HEAT SO EVENLY THAT THE CHEESE ON TOP WAS A BREATHTAKING SIGHT- PERFECTLY BROWNED, EVENLY FROM SIDE TO SIDE, NO BURNED EDGES, AND THE INSIDE OF THE LASAGNA WAS PERFECTLY COOKED - NOT COLD OR OF A DIFFERENT TEMPERATURE, AND TO TOP IT OFF, WHEN I WAS DONE, ALL I HAD TO DO WAS RINSE IT UNDER THE FAUCET AND ALL THE FOOD SLID RIGHT OFF! NO MUSCLE NEEDED TO CLEAN THIS BABY!

Die Verarbeitung ist, wie bei allen Le Creuset Produkten nicht zu schlagen.
Schön ist, dass sie so tief ist, dann kann man Aufläufe noch höher schichten :-)
