I read the reviews before purchase so knew the drawbacks. However, I really want to reduce my chemical exposure, especially in the bath. We have hard water so getting a whole house filter is out of the question, but I'd like to get rid of chlorine so wanted to give this a try. I take a lot of Epsom salts baths. After some finagling I got this to work on my bathtub faucet. I will upload photos showing the final results and also why I had issues. Your bathtub faucet might be different and thus you may or may not have issues.I have an old 70's yellow tub with one handle to adjust hot and cold. I also have a toggle switch to open and close the drain. I discovered that this was getting in the way due to the location. It sticks out of the tub under the faucet and pushes the filter forward. Also the faucet spout has a downwards angle so both issues caused the filter to fall off. I did not want to permanently attach the sticky thing to the faucet and I'm not sure it would hold give the issues ... After looking at it all my husband and I rigged it with a big rubber band. In the future I may get a string. I also had to not turn the water on full boar to reduce the amount of overflow. Once I figured all of this out it worked just fine. A noticeable difference in my bath water and how soft and clean I felt when done (no more chlorine smell or dryness). However, just be prepared that you might need to do some critical thinking/problem solving depending on your tub set up. Overall, I am satisfied, but the extra work was worth it to me. You know yourself best and will know if you can tolerate taking time to make it work.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great for me
Reviewed in the United States on October 28, 2012
I'm going to upload a couple photos that I think is a much better representation of this product than the official one. The image makes it look like the "bowl" is much smaller than it actually is, and like it needs that top metal pull up piece to hold it on. It also looks to have only one velcro strap, but it has two.

For my faucet it works great. Easily went on the first time. Easy to remove just the bowl part (when wanting unfiltered water to wash out the tub, for example). And definitely ends the chlorine gas bath I had been getting. I literally breathe easier with this little device in use.

You do want to have separate hot and cold taps if you want a hot bath, since turning the nozzle enough to get hot water may result in too much water pressure for the size of the bowl. But as my photos show, a pretty good amount can go through without spilling over and missing the filtering. I have no problem, so depending on how much water pressure you have and how patient you are to fill your bath, you may or may not. For me when I put hot on max and cold just the amount to get the temp I want the bowl does not overfill.
