What an incredible app! Super easy to use, the forums that provide thousands of charts - especially for jazz players. What's great is that you can also download pop/soul charts. The backing tracks/practice tracks are also very useful. Highly recommended. The downside is that the lead melodies of the tunes are not there, which reflects in jam sessions, but that's up to the player to learn their s@£!
If you're a gigging musician and have a decent sized phone/tablet, go get it!
I just got this 2 days ago and haven't had time to explore all you can do with it, but what I've seen is quite amazing. Their included practice tunes are excellent. They don't use the actual tune names, probably because of copy-write rules but 2 of the practice pieces are Coltrane's Giant Steps and 26-2. The supplied chord charts are accurate and the backing band is quite realistic. The capacity to transpose the pieces and change tempo are great to have. The user blog gives you the ability to add 1300 additional songs - mostly from the Real Book. This is very valuable if you're on a gig and a tune is called that you don't know. Apparently there is the capacity to create your own chord charts but I haven't had the time to try that out. Could be a very valuable tool to aid in composition.
This app only works on android and ios devices - not pcs, Hopefully they'll make a version for PC soon. It runs well on my Amazon fire tablet. Very highly recommended.
