I am motivated when I sit down and start working on the list of stocks I will watch that day. This morning routine has tremendously helped my mental preparation for coming into the market. Whatever your routine is, starting the morning in a similar fashion will pay invaluable dividends.

    Un ouvrage très complet et très bien expliqué.

    Le livre existe en version française, mais je l'ai acheté en anglais pour avoir tous les acronymes (EMA, VWAP, etc.) dans cette langue et ne pas m'encombrer l'esprit avec des traductions françaises. Il y a de très nombreuses illustrations de cas concrets de trading, avec les graphiques toutes les explications. Vraiment très bien fait.

    Il y a aussi quelques paragraphes sur la psychologie et la discipline mentale pour devenir profitable.

    Paradoxalement, la lecture de ce livre m'a fait m'orienter plutôt vers le Forex, car le "Day Trading" se passe principalement sur l'ouverture de la bourse de New-York, c'est-à-dire 14h30 ou 15h30 (heure d'hiver ou d'été) et il se trouve qu'à cette heure-ci, je bosse. De plus, il faut être très réactif sur les 15-20 premières minutes après l'ouverture, et sur un temps aussi court et stressant, j'ai un peu peur de m'emmêler les pinceaux !

    Mais la grande majorité de ce qui est expliqué dans le livre reste valable pour d'autres types de marchés : Forex, cryptos, indices, etc.

    This book surprised me because at first it looks a bit cliché but as they say, "don't judge a book by its cover). It is well written and the author does a very good job of explain the methodology he uses for day trading while teaching some basic concepts about the stock market. The author also teaches you a lot of tools to use and how to develop your "trading plan". If you're focusing on a very short term style of trading then this book won't disappoint you. If you want to up your game, the same author has an "advanced" version of this book with even more complicated subjects.

    This guy, i mean the guy in this book, he is an amazingly detailed writer. A book that helps newbies learn more about trading, me myself I learnt a lot of new and interesting stuff. A big book a big yes.
