Perfect for cookies, bars, and cake pops!
These have worked great in every recipe I’ve tried. When baked in cookies and bars, they get soft but don’t liquify, just like regular chocolate chips. And these are FABULOUS for dipping cake pops!!! Normally you need to add coconut oil or shortening to melted chocolate to get the right consistency for dipping cake pops, otherwise the chocolate can seize up or the coating can crack, it can be a mess. But these are perfect right out of the bag, just pop them in a bowl and melt in the microwave and you’ll get a perfect dip. Be sure to first dip the end of the stick in the chocolate and poke it in the cake ball, then let that sit for a couple minutes before dipping the entire pop. This extra step helps make sure the cake pops don’t fall off. For a shortcut just buy donut holes from the store and dip those. I highly recommend Katz brand if you need to be allergy friendly. You can find Katz donuts holes at places like Target and Whole Foods, they’ll be in the frozen foods section, or you can buy them on Amazon. The chocolate cake variety works best for pops. If you’ve got a tight budget (Katz is a bit pricey), then just use marshmallows for the pop. Super cheap and also allergy friendly. We included some marshmallows alongside the cake pops for a kid birthday party and they were a hit! We drizzled the melted white chocolate on the marshmallows, fully dipped the donut holes, then added gold and silver sprinkles to both. It was easier than making a box cake mix and 5 times the wow factor. The kids loved them. A note about taste: In my opinion, when you try dairy free semi-sweet or dark chocolate it usually tastes nearly identical to the dairy counterparts. This isn’t the case for these white chocolate chips. They don’t have that rich buttery flavor you get with legitimate white chocolate, they are more of just a sugary vanilla flavor. The flavor isn’t bad, just realize it’s different from white chocolate. This has never been an issue for us, our family likes the flavor and consistency, these work great in every recipe we’ve tried, and I am so thankful to have this as an option. Highly recommend.

These enjoy life chocolate chips are so tasty and a great alternative to milk chocolate chips. They taste like traditional semi-sweet chocolate chips and since they are made in a nut free and gluten free facility, these are great for those with food allergies. We have baked muffins and cookies with them so far and they came out great, but have even eaten them straight out of the bag. My non vegan friends said they taste like regular dairy chocolate!

Enjoy Life Chocolate chips are excellent! If possible, buying in person at a store is the best option. They are shipped in the original Enjoy Life box without any protection so count on one bag busting open as other reviewers noted. One bag was trash since I don’t eat anything with a broken seal. I was happy product did not melt since package went from GA to TX to FL in July so that was a big plus since no ice pack in box. Excellent product, but shipping box method needs improvement.
