I've got a few thousand miles on a set of 700 x 28 Maxxis Padrones so far, and I'm very happy with these tires. At a around 195 lbs rider weight, I run them at around 80 psi, and use 2 oz. of Orange Seal in each. I had to replace one tire due to an unfortunate cut, but that was bad enough that it would have taken out any tire. Otherwise I haven't had a puncture with these yet. I can get at least 2,000 miles out of the rear tire, so if you rotate front to back occasionally I could easily imagine getting 3,000+ miles on a set. Most importantly, the ride quality is good. They are smooth, roll well, and corner predictably and confidently. They aren't quite as supple as the now discontinued Michelin Pro 4 Endurance I ran prior, but they also don't feel like blocks of wood like some endurance tires I've used (cough, cough...Gatorskins!). I just did a 125 mile ride last weekend, and it's great to be able to go on rides that long and have confidence in your equipment. Definitely recommended.

I had bought a Hutchinson Fusion 5 TR tire. Two rides with it and two flats. Vowed to never again by Hutchinson tires. I ride with Maxxis TR tires on my mountain bike and have had no issues so I decided to try their road bike tire. This tire totally rocks. Fairly easy to install on TR ready carbon wheels. Bead was super easy to set. Performance on the road is amazing. Smooth rolling, great cornering grip, and did I mention smooth rolling. I run 80 PSI in them and they are amazing - Highly recommend
