I spent 1.5 hours on my own trying to install/setup on this thing. Physically it is simple to install. If you are dealing with a MyQ Hub and 2 garage doors, this thing might as well be a paperweight, and since it isn't that heavy...
Since I couldn't get the door sensors to transfer over from the hub to the bridge, I had to call their support line. To their credit, the support person stayed on with me for almost 2 hours. We had to complete reset everything in my garage. The new Bridge, the MyQ hub, both the sensors and even the motors themselves. Meaning, all the remotes and anything else that was programmed to open my garage doors, wiped. After setting EVERYTHING up again, she still wasn't able to get it setup right. Since it was a workday and I couldn't stay on the phone any longer, we ended the call and the woman emailed me step by step instructions on what needed to take place.
A few days later, during that time, having no access to my garage, I spent 2 hours going through her instructions twice and I was FINALLY able to get everything working. Siri could now control my garage doors and everything seemed good.
However, after some testing, I noticed that sometimes Siri would close the doors in the app and show them as closed, but they were still physically open. Then, after 24 hours, one of the garage doors disappeared from the home app. So I went into the MyQ app and that door was showing as off line. Also, the other door was not able to be controlled from either the MyQ or Apple Home app.
I am so frustrated that I haven't had the energy or the will to even troubleshoot it. I am likely just going to unplug and return it. It simply isn't worth it.
The Good:
Once it was FINALLY set up (see below) and configured, it has been totally reliable (about a month now - we'll see if that holds). But it is important to note that I have a same-manufacturer MyQ (WiFi) garage door opener. So I just have the actual garage door opener and this MyQ Home Bridge - that's it. I understand that if you don't have a MyQ garage door opener, you need yet another device. I think most (not all) of the reviews here are from people who have older or non-MyQ garage door openers. But I already had a MyQ opener.
Also good was the tech support. Yes, I was surprised! But it seems like they know about their problems and they got me going in about 5 minutes. I had previously wasted hours (over multiple days) trying to get it to work myself (see the bad and ugly below). If I had to do it over again, I would have called support right away!
The other good thing about this is, paired with a MyQ wifi garage door, you don't need to install separate garage door sensors. The MyQ opener itself keeps track of the garage door (i.e. it "knows" it is opening or closing not just that the button has been pressed. It even keeps track of the time it has been opened or how long it has been closed).
The bad:
First, this is expensive. There are cheaper (and newer) HomeKit garage door openers out there. The fact that this came out in 2017 and hasn't been refreshed or upgraded in four years, means that it is "ancient" as far as smart home tech is concerned. Frankly, Chamberlain should just build in HomeKit (and Google and Alexa) compatibility directly into their MyQ wifi openers and call it a day. There really isn't a good reason just to build it into their newest openers.
But the installation process is just horrible. HomeKit couldn't find the hub the first 10 times I tried it. Eventually, after some Googling I reset the unit (some combination of the switches showing different colored LEDs on the unit - it's all very archaic and unintuitive). Eventually (and I mean days after I bought it) I got HomeKit to see it. As mentioned, I already owned a Chamberlain MyQ WiFi opener. So you'd figure that now of course the two same-manufacturer, wifi units (the opener and this Home Bridge) on the same WiFi network would be able to "pair" with each other, right? Wrong! That was THE most frustrating part. The two Chamberlain units would not pair/handshake. I tried all the "tricks" I found on Google. None of them worked. I removed and re-added the garage door opener itself. That didn't help it pair with the Home Bridge, either. Eventually, I called Chamberlain tech support. I explained the problem. They knew exactly what the issue was and had me do a certain sequence of things with my MyQ opener (sorry don't remember exactly what the sequence was, but it was slightly different than what I had read online in forums) . After that, it paired...and has been working great ever since. Zero issues after the nightmare of installation and pairing. So, all is well that end's well. At least so far. Operating for about a month now and zero (crosses fingers, knocks on wood!) "device not responding". Always opens and closes and sends me notifications (because i have enabled them in the Home app) when the garage opens or closes. Hopefully, it continues to function, but we'll see. If I can offer any advice it would be to call tech support immediately if you have problems. I have about 30 HomeKit devices and have installed them all (including in-wall switches) so I figured Dr. Google and I could figure it out. But in this case, the Chamberlain tech support fixed me up in a few minutes versus many hours of wasted time on my own.

I purchased an original MyQ device under the impression that it was HomeKit compatible. It wasn’t but that’s fine. It was an early stage of home automation so these things happen.
I awaited the arrival of the bridge on the market for a long time and was excited to see it when it was launched.
My specific disappointments are:
1) difficult to set up. I am the guy who usually gets calls from family and friends to set things like this up. I’m a professional engineer. The instructions were not indicative of the way I had to actually set it up.
2) The product does not fulfill its sole purpose for being. The bridge will show up in the home app yes. But unless you’ve just operated it within the last two minutes using the button on the wall or the MyQ app, the Home App by Apple cannot open or close it. It is as if the bridge goes to sleep and needs to be awakened.
The result of that means that you can ask Siri the position of the door and she will tell you. But ask her to open and close the door and she says Hmmmm. I can’t do that can you try again. If you open the doer with the button, and only a minute has passed, you can ask Siri to close the door and she will.
This may seem like a minor glitch and it is except for the fact that it is the only purpose the bridge actually serves. It also appears online that this is common.
Truthfully it is the worst product I’ve purchased in the last 3-4 years because it doesn’t perform its only function.
The set up procedure is NOT straight forward but dont give up, you'll get there in the end. Make sure your home kit device, ie iphone/ipad is NOT connected to the 4g wifi network on your router, it will only work if your iphone is connected to the 2.4ghz network.
The other issue that wasnt explained in the setup was after the devices are transferred to the HOME BRIDGE, you have to disconnect your internet gateway device (if you had one installed before)
