Top reviews from other countries
My old ruler, which was quite a pricey one, was a nightmare to work with. I don't know how many times it slipped when I cut fabric that was longer than 10". I automatically pressed harder, on the ruler itself as well as the rotary cutter which ultimately lead to even more frustration when it still slipped because I had to reposition my hand to cut the end of the fabric. It came to a point where I dreaded cutting or marking the fabric, going as slow as possible.
This ruler is sturdy and thick without being heavy. Sewing is not a cheap hobby. I've learned the hard way to buy quality (pricier) tools.
I'm not being paid or rewarded in any kind by saying this, but Amazon is by far the cheapest option that I've come across. I saw the same ruler yesterday at a fabric shop for £10 more than the price here.
I'll buy the smaller version to work with smaller pieces of fabric, and I'm not a quilter by the way.
