Product Description

Built on 30 years of fitness engineering and technology, the ProForm Pro 2000 is designed to burn more calories, improve real-road conditioning, and boost cardio endurance. So your health, your family, and your home get exactly what they need.

Continuous Horsepower ("CHP") is a term used in the treadmill industry for consumer comparison purposes. The CHP rating is measured in laboratory testing using a dynamometer, which measures the mechanical power of the motor. The CHP rating does not denote the operational horsepower of the treadmill in ordinary household use. In ordinary household use, the motor does not operate at the horsepower shown.

67 customers mention35 positive32 negative

Customers are mixed about the quality of the treadmill. Some mention that it is heavy, but this shows how robust it is, and the treadmill feels very premium for the price. The machine itself seems very sturdy, doesn't make much noise, and has good fans. However, some say that the treadmill arrived damaged and was partially torn. Some customers also say that it self-destructed at 1 year and came with a busted rail.

"...It's a great motivational tool. The machine itself seems very sturdy, doesn't make much noise other than while adjusting the incline, but even then..." Read more

64 customers mention43 positive21 negative

Customers are mixed about the performance of the treadmill. Some mention that it runs like a champ, works great with a heart rate monitor, and the incline is very slow. However, others say that it stopped working after eight weeks, is unusable in its current state, and that the display screen stopped working correctly. The calorie count stopped working, and after six months the smaller control panel on the unit quit working.

"...The treadmill now runs well...." Read more

27 customers mention12 positive15 negative

Customers are mixed about the noise of the treadmill. Some mention that it's quieter than other units they have owned, while others say that it creates some loud vibrating noises. The deck seems to squeak when walking and bounce/bang when running, while the fan vibrates at an interval every 10-15 seconds for 5 seconds.

"...Also, the fan (when I put it all the way up on level 3) creates some loud vibrating noises so I just don't go past level 2 and it's not a problem...." Read more

"...It was extremely easy to hook up to my iPad. Speakers are loud and easy to hear. The fan is nice, though it makes a loud hum on medium speed...." Read more

"...When I press the buttons, they make noise, but they do not operate the treadmill or illuminate the screen...." Read more

"...Everything seems to be in working order out of the box and there were no squeaks, odd noises or belt slippage...." Read more

18 customers mention12 positive6 negative

Customers have mixed opinions about the alignment of the treadmill. Some mention that the incline and decline function smoothly, the motor is quiet, and the speed is amazing. However, others say that the motor makes grinding noise, the acne feature is stuck, and it self-calibrates the iincline.

"...is standard commercial grade, and the treadmill folds up and moves very easily...." Read more

"...Often when plugging in the key to turn it on, it will self-calibrate the incline to fully inclined then back down...." Read more

"...The treadmill moves easily with speed and incline. I love the tablet holder which I usually put my phone on to watch Netflix...." Read more

"...after paying $1000 for a treadmill... I do enjoy the incline and decline features...." Read more

17 customers mention9 positive8 negative

Customers have mixed opinions about the speed of the treadmill. Some mention that the 3.5 CHP motor has never skipped a beat, it runs smooth, and is a powerful machine. However, others say that the machine speeds up very fast, the fan speed could be more powerful, and there is no way to view pace.

"...The 3.5 CHP motor has never skipped a beat! This is something I was worried about as someone who runs between 18 and 24 miles per week...." Read more

"...the clock chip runs FAST (about 30-40 seconds per hour fast) which does not seem acceptable to me based on the state of the art..." Read more

"...The instructions were clear and all parts were included. It runs smooth and while similar to my old treadmill, it’s definitely had a few upgrades...." Read more

"...So the motor starts speeding up..." Read more

15 customers mention10 positive5 negative

Customers have mixed opinions about the size of the treadmill. Some mention that it's big, sturdy, and roomy, and that the folding capacity would give you extra space when not in use. Others say that it is noisy, has a lot of wasted space, and is difficult to assemble.

"...The deck size is very generous. The machine folds up and down easily thanks to a nice hydraulic lift...." Read more

iFIT OVERRIDE UPON STARTUP!!!
{HOLD THE iFIT / BLUETOOTH BUTTON FOR 20 SECONDS TO MANUALLY OVERRIDE iFIT}...if you plan to not use it and not pay $180.00 a year for an iFIT membership...After assembling the unit and once you plug it in... you will only see a screen that says "iFIT.com/ACTIVATEWhen you go to the site they will prompt you for putting in your information, Credit card, etc for a 30 day trial. Then it says after 30 days they will charge you monthly for a annual cost of $180.00The machine will not do anything until you either signup or override the ifit activation. I do not plan on ever using iFIT and didn't want to use the trial or give them my credit card....So, Hold down the BlueTooth Pairing Button/ iFIT button for 20 secs and it overrides the activation. You never get prompted for it again. (See image for the button to press and hold if need be)Enjoy.(also, i read the manual and the override is not featured so thats some straight up bs on the MFG's part)
