Product Description
Built on 30 years of fitness engineering and technology, the ProForm Pro 2000 is designed to burn more calories, improve real-road conditioning, and boost cardio endurance. So your health, your family, and your home get exactly what they need.
Continuous Horsepower ("CHP") is a term used in the treadmill industry for consumer comparison purposes. The CHP rating is measured in laboratory testing using a dynamometer, which measures the mechanical power of the motor. The CHP rating does not denote the operational horsepower of the treadmill in ordinary household use. In ordinary household use, the motor does not operate at the horsepower shown.

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

Customers like the value of the treadmill. They say it's the best of its price class, it runs fine for what it costs, and the subscription really isn't all that expensive.

"It is a good product for the price (under $1000 with free assembly on cyber monday), with the right motor size and belt size...." Read more
Customers are mixed about the quality of the treadmill. Some mention that it is heavy, but this shows how robust it is, and the treadmill feels very premium for the price. The machine itself seems very sturdy, doesn't make much noise, and has good fans. However, some say that the treadmill arrived damaged and was partially torn. Some customers also say that it self-destructed at 1 year and came with a busted rail.
"...It's a great motivational tool. The machine itself seems very sturdy, doesn't make much noise other than while adjusting the incline, but even then..." Read more

Customers are mixed about the performance of the treadmill. Some mention that it runs like a champ, works great with a heart rate monitor, and the incline is very slow. However, others say that it stopped working after eight weeks, is unusable in its current state, and that the display screen stopped working correctly. The calorie count stopped working, and after six months the smaller control panel on the unit quit working.

Customers are mixed about the noise of the treadmill. Some mention that it's quieter than other units they have owned, while others say that it creates some loud vibrating noises. The deck seems to squeak when walking and bounce/bang when running, while the fan vibrates at an interval every 10-15 seconds for 5 seconds.
"...Also, the fan (when I put it all the way up on level 3) creates some loud vibrating noises so I just don't go past level 2 and it's not a problem...." Read more

Customers have mixed opinions about the alignment of the treadmill. Some mention that the incline and decline function smoothly, the motor is quiet, and the speed is amazing. However, others say that the motor makes grinding noise, the acne feature is stuck, and it self-calibrates the iincline.

Customers have mixed opinions about the speed of the treadmill. Some mention that the 3.5 CHP motor has never skipped a beat, it runs smooth, and is a powerful machine. However, others say that the machine speeds up very fast, the fan speed could be more powerful, and there is no way to view pace.

"...So the motor starts speeding up..." Read more
Customers have mixed opinions about the size of the treadmill. Some mention that it's big, sturdy, and roomy, and that the folding capacity would give you extra space when not in use. Others say that it is noisy, has a lot of wasted space, and is difficult to assemble.
"...The deck size is very generous. The machine folds up and down easily thanks to a nice hydraulic lift...." Read more
"...This treadmill is not tiny and definitely a heavy duty piece of machine. I think it will last for years if used in home." Read more

Update -- Although it arrived damaged, once I figured out how to get ahold of Amazon, I was provided with great customer service. The treadmill now runs well. I read reviews that said the fan is placed at an awkward level, but as a very short woman, its the right height for me -- I like that the fan isn't blasting me in the face (and drying out my eyes) every time I run.
I think this treadmill is the best of its price class (and probably the cheapest you can go for people doing 20+ miles per week). It gets away with being cheaper because the panel isn't as ornate / pretty / multifunctional as more expensive treadmills, but if you're using it at home all you need is distance, time, calorie count -- not flashy colored TV. And my experience is the more ornate the panel, the more likely it is to fail over time. I like that this one is simple (I just keep iPad in its spot while running - its very secure in the attached holder). The belt is standard commercial grade, and the treadmill folds up and moves very easily.
Regarding delivery, if you need it to go to the second floor, make sure you arrange for that (call the assembly people and see if you can add on the service). If not, the bottom piece is on rollers so you can probably get it to where it needs to go. But overall it is very heavy.
And don't forget to refuse delivery if the box shows up damaged!!
It was extremely easy to hook up to my iPad. Speakers are loud and easy to hear. The fan is nice, though it makes a loud hum on medium speed. No biggie because I have it on the maximum speed all the time.
Delivery was easy. You'll want another person to help you get it to where you want it to go as it weighs over 250lbs. Mine didn't have any damage upon delivery and the packaging was in great shape. There is also a ton of foam to pad the equipment during transit.
I've had the unit for a week and had it professionally assembled. I haven't figured out the chest strap heart rate monitor yet. I have an Apple watch though so, in reality, I probably don't need it. Overall I love this treadmill!
***Update 2/24/17***
Had this machine now for a couple months and it is still going strong. Everything works very well and the machine feels solid while running/walking on it. I usually do a couple miles a day on this thing and it never hesitates, stutters, or anything when increasing/decreasing speed or incline. Loving this thing so far and it has also helped me lose 20 pounds so far.
I purchased this treadmill with a special offer that I would have it professionally assembled the day after it was delivered. Amazon shipped the product out and then canceled the professionally assembly and stated no one accepted the job. I spent 2 hours putting it together. I was reimbursed the 0.00 dollars that were planned as the professional assembly, but only purchased the item under the terms that it included professional assembly. I also find it to be a pain that I MUST GIVE MY CREDIT CARD TO A IFIT AND SIGN UP for a membership of 15 dollars a month to even get the thing to start working. If I wanted a Gym membership fee , I would have found a Gym for 20 a month. Professional assembly not included.
