I liked this book by new to me author Abby Knox. ‘TAKE ME HOME’ is a small town romance and the beginning of a series, it is the story of Maggie and Jackson. Maggie comes back to her hometown after things didn't work out in the big city. She returns to her Maggie Mama June, her foster mum’s house to heal her broken spirit, only to find out that it was already owned and run by someone else, a sexy cowboy named Jackson.

Jackson hires Maggie to help him around the farm and soon the attraction proves to be too much and their relationship turns into something more. He wants her with a passion but is afraid the age gap (almost 20 years) between the two is too much. Maggie knows her mind and heart and quite frankly Jackson didn’t stand a chance...

Very cute...and Steamy and fast and fun!

Take me Home is book 1 in the Small Town Bachelor series; Maggie has walked away from the life she was desperate to make work. Coming back to Mama Jane’s house is where she always felt safe; With Mama Jane off on the holiday of a lifetime she is left with the new ‘farm hand’.

Jackson was finally fulfilling his dream of owning his own farm when he comes face to face with the beauty that is Maggie. Coming to her rescue and putting everything at risk sparks begin to fly between them, with the age gap they come together.

Knox is a new to me author, I personally enjoyed reading Take me Home; I always enjoy an insta-love story with a happy ending.

I could have done without the seemingly necessary drama before the happy ending, but it didn't dampen the my appreciation of the book. Definitely recommend it. 😉

OMG I loved this story. This is a story of a girl raised as a foster child by, Mama, a foster parent to many children over the years. But this is the story of Maggie and Jackson.
Maggie has been left without her belongings and her money, by her boyfriend Alex, when he took off and left her for New York. When she was able to get in touch with Alex, he told her "New York is expensive." So with only the clothes on her back and her money working that night she gets on a bus to go home.
Jackson owns a goat farm and sells the goat milk and chicken eggs to the organic buyers. He worked for the former owner but now he, and the bank, own the farm.Jackson has finished work for the day and decides to go into town for beer and a steak. What he gets is something else...

When Maggie calls Mama to tell her the bad news she has, Mama tells her to go to the farm knowing she would not be there. Jackson Clay bought the farm and started raising goats and chickens. This story is full of romance, heat, testosterone, and ends in a HEA. Very highly recommended.
