This is the best ever paint, especially for furniture and cabinets, etc. I have tried the old fashioned real milk paint which is in powdered form, and this beats it hands down. It is not messy, brushes on like a dream, covers well, no brush marks. I recently used this for an old wall shelf that I got at a flea market. The persian blue is just right, not too bright, very soft and old fashioned/vintage looking. Although 2 coats are recommended, I really only needed the one coat, just no need for the second coat. Also I dry brushed with white directly over the persian blue (once it was dry) with no problem at all. It is a bit pricey, but it goes a long way. Love the results with this paint, and the color is perfect!

We used this paint to remodel kitchen counters and it works and looks great. High viscosity results in great coverage with only light sanding. We used Seagull Grey and wanted to mix Persian with Coastal Blue to achieve the blue in the picture. According to the General Finishes Color Palette, this should have been a 1:1 mix, but that came out way too light. Even 2:1 was too light; 3:1 came out slightly too dark and with more saturation. I ended up going 3:2 but am not happy with the final color result. So be careful when trusting the colors on the palette. You need to test it before and don't buy all the paint until you have your correct mix established.
