Daughters of a Coral Dawn Kindle Edition
Late in the 22nd century, the settling of a new world falls on the strong shoulders of young Megan. The perfect leader, she undertakes to guide her sisters to a new planet, free from the shackles of the brutal Earth regime. Negotiating politics in a society of women is second only to securing their safety. When a landing party of men and women discover their colony Megan must decide if the outsiders will live or die. And that includes Lt. Laurel Meredith, whose disturbing beauty is as dangerous to Megan as her people are to Megan's world.

This book is no different either. This one shows the authors brilliant mind to come up with a world for and by women. I read this book many years before. I loved it but did not fully grasp what it meant to have a world where only women exist.
About a decade ago a very forward thinking gentleman that was in his late 80’s, born in the 1920’s, and I in my 30’s would spend hours upon hours talking. And he had told me that he read an article (he couldn’t remember where) had said that if women ruled the world that we (humans/society) would be millions of years more advanced than our current primitive society. We have not leaped into the future so to speak because of the arrogance, hubris and stifling control of men in the world holding us back with wars, avarice, and pure hypocrisy and fear.
We see this play out in this book. How the women love. How they conduct themselves. No laws needed. No greed. The sharing of everything. The love that abounds through friendship and courtship. The technology and the brain source is more than compelling. Then one day an SOS appears. The story continues to tell us why a world with men is the source of all that ails being able to live truly free and unmolested of self and planetary resources.
I’m just in awe of this book, this author, this world. I’ve often dreamed of something akin to this.
But also aboard that ship is someone special. I knew when that happened that a life with Venus was not going to happen. I believe that although I have nothing against the newcomer, I also believe Venus was her best bet for her heart and also for Venus’. I don’t think there is anyone now that can change Venus of her ways. And Venus knew that when she offered her bed to Miri, it had signaled the end of them before they could even get started. I hated to see that fizzle out.
You won’t be disappointed if you like a bit of sci-fi with your lesfic.
