PROS:-Incredibly well thought out bag.-The laptop sleeve is the best I’ve had in a backpack.-Seemingly flimsy but strong materials. If you check out timbuk2’s website many people complain about the zippers being hard to open and close. I put this to the test and stuffed one of the compartments completely full and tried to close it, intentionally trying to break the zipper lining. Didn't happen.-A deceptively large amount of space-The tacky bottle opener is actually handy for attaching keys and the sunglasses strap is something I’ve grown accustomed to (see pictures)-The option to have the Diablo color >; }CONS:-The strap at the back top of the bag will dig into my back when the laptop isn’t in, or the bag is close to empty.-The shoulder straps don’t have very much cushioning at all-If the zippers are pulled open all the way, one side goes into the water container mesh and its finicky to get out.Overall, hell yes I’d recommend this bag! I’d even buy it again, except in black ^-^

Very nice backpack, especially considering the price. A couple of things to make it even better. First, install an inner ring such that keys can be secured in a given place. Also, the carrying straps tend to twist when picking up the pack to place on the shoulders. And finally, adding a carrying handle to carry as a small bag would be a very big plus. But this bag is very functional, and a reasonable value for the asking price.

Sturdy backpack with lots and lots of space for laptop plus tablet, cell phone, and everything I need to attached to them. Not to mention a water bottle in one side pocket and snacks in the other.

My son uses it as a backpack for high school and has converted the laptop storage to house his flip flops :-(

I purchased my husband one because he travels so frequently. His only complaint is the zipper. He would really appreciate a better quality zipper (like Northface).

Both are in agreement that it holds a lot of stuff. My son was able to carry all of his school books plus binders on the first day when they were distributed. My husband carries two laptops and an iPad plus accessories for all and other random items.

If you are a student or someone who travels frequently and don't have a Timbuk2 bag, you are living life all wrong. This is the best backpack on the market. It's lightweight, holds your laptop, a jacket and whatever notes you need for the day. Plus, it's perfect for travel. The butterfly bag zips open for TSA ease and fits nicely under the airplane seats. This makes it ideal for an overnight/weekend travel bag.

If you are in need of a backpack for any reason whatsoever, stop looking. You found it.

After all the different high end travel laptop carry on backpacks I have acquired, this is my go to pack for international travel. Mine has been over stuffed, forced under seats, and been my pillow, footrest. The zippers are intact, there are no rips or holes and barely any scuffs. It is amazingly tough, comfortable, and well designed for organization and utility. It is not perfect but its imperfections are easily adapted to because its strengths are so impressive.

I use this for travel on a plane. Nice size and easy to carry. Worth the extra money it costs compared to others as it is very well made.
