This book is well put together and sturdy for a paperback, if that makes a difference to you, I was quite please with the quality of the printed page. The contents are exciting and a great place for me to start my cultured journey. It is much less complicated in explanation that a number of books I've looked at or purchased.

I was really looking forward to reading this and making the recipes. So disappointed because everything is just so so. Nothing stands out as really good at all. For the price, I expected to like at least a couple recipes.

The recipes looked natural and healthy. I have wanted to learn how to ferment for a while now but always felt intimidated by the process. I did not want to do something wrong and consume a "bad bug". This books looks doable with easy recipes no weird ingredients. Its inspirational enough to give it a try..thanks Michelle
