I love these pastry brushes. I am a baker, and everyone knows a baker's best friend is a good quality pastry brush. I've never owned a silicone brush before. Yes I am a reformed pastry brush snob! I recently purchased a very expensive natural boar bristle pastry brush, it was my last. It worked well the first time. But the the third use I was disposing of my baked goods because I was find hairs all in them. (NOT GOOD)

Yes, I was very skeptical of the price, (not use to finding such great deals like this) however, I was totally wrong. I've sent these little bad boys through my dishwasher several times. (yeah no more hand washing!!!) they are perfect! I love how they work, I love how easy they are to clean, and I know they are clean. Oh and if you do hand wash, they are way easier to clean than a natural bristle brush. I also love the colors. I am buying another set to have on hand just cause! Trust me, you will love these! I won't go as far as to say that these pastry brushes will change your life....BUT YOU NEVER KNOW!!! :) (remember folks it's the little things in life, and these little dandy's are one of the little joys in life) If you have a kitchen or know someone who does, BUY THESE!!! I am probably going to get a bunch as stocking stuffers for Christmas.

We are always looking for a basting brush. It seems we can never find one in our drawers. After years of using the nylon bristle type we have thrown them out because the bristle were falling out when be basted. These four brushes are colorful, so we won't have any trouble finding them in our drawers. They work well, but seem to hold less sauce than our old nylon brushes. Since they are silicone, clean up is a breeze. Sauce washes off of them easily.

I am also not a big fan of the clear acrylic handles. With oily sauces the handles become slippery. Wood handles, or gripped handles do not have this issue.

Really good deal. Four basters and pastry brushes all different colors. I brought one with me to my daughters where the turkey meal was taking place. We used one to brush the top of the apple pie, and one for the turkey. The brushes are made of silicone and come apart for easy washing. They are much easier to use than the old brushes. The butter glides on easily and the brush spreads very well. Quite happy with these brushes.

After many years of trying to pour or spoon marinades over meats, I finally decided to buy some basting brushes. I am so glad that I did!

These brushes deposit the perfect amount of basting or marinade onto your meat. They're also great for spreading oil over an aluminum foil-covered baking sheet. The bristles are removable from the handle, making cleaning them thoroughly a breeze. Like all silicone, oilier sauces and marinades require some extra-hot water and dish soap to be sure to get all of the oil off, but that's to be expected.

A great price for these fun-colored, very useful basting brushes. 100% would buy again.

I got a set of these for my husband for Christmas 2020. They are very easy to wash up and you don't see food residue left unlike the basting brushes that look like or possibly are made out of those straw-like material that some paint brushes are made of. I have never been sure that we actually have gotten the straw-like brushes fully clean. This caused me concern about possible food contamination. Plus often the straw-like ones would often eventually lose their bristles in the food while basting. Not these basting brushes. Also these brushes come off the handle so you can fully clean and dry the brush heads and handles. No leaking of old dish water and food coming from where handle and brush meet. Yesterday, 6/4/21 I ordered a set for my mother-in-law. I don't want anyone to get sick because the basting brush they used wasn't clean well enough.
