Ugly Wrapping, Great Mug
I own a lot of Royal Albert collections, and usually they come beautifully packaged in bright pink boxes, but this mug came (new) wrapped in ugly plastic. It was very underwhelming. The actual mug itself, however, is lovely. Just thought I'd mention the packaging in case someone wanted to give this as a gift; you'd have to prepare your own wrapping with this product!

The mug is of high quality and excellent craftsmanship. I'm very pleased with the product and my daughter who received the mug is pleased as well.. On the other hand, I'm extremely unhappy with the shipper as my order was processed on 19 November, didn't ship until 19 December and wasn't received until 27 December!!! When it finally shipped on the 19th of December, the projected date of delivery was the 2nd of December...yes, that is correct...17 days BEFORE it was finally shipped. Mug was wrapped in brown paper, surrounded by styrofoam peanuts & fortunately arrived intact. I contacted the seller once about the extremely long wait and did not receive any response. This birthday gift became a Christmas gift, and finally a "just because" gift as ALL of my projected ever changing gifting dates were surpassed. I LOVE the mug, but am disappointed in the poor service by the seller.

Beautiful and microwaveable! I love the mugs, I did read a review that someone said that hers said made in "China" on the bottom, the ones I received say "England 1994 and say Royal Albert". I wanted pretty mugs for my kitchens Coffee station. These were great much nicer than the mixed match mugs I had before. They do not say "Bone China" and I would not wish them to be bone china since they will be for my every day use. I did shop around and this was the best price I found on line...
