Philips BDM4350UC Monitor da 43", 4K UHD 3840 x 2160, LED IPS, Multiview ( PiP, PbP ), Audio Integrato, 2 HDMI, 2 Display Port, VGA, USB, Vesa

Il monitor si presenta in un bel package, la scatola contiene i piedistalli e le cavetterie necessarie per collegarlo comodamente alle sorgenti che preferite. Sulla scrivania fa un bell'effetto, soprattutto "acceso". L'ho collegato con un cavo MDP da un iMac 5k e lasciato alla risoluzione nativa 4K. Devo dire che non esistono effetti di distorsione e o sfarfallii, perde solo un pò il colore in prossimità della cornice, dal lato destro in prossimità della striscia led. Quello che posso dire è che una volta regolato i colori, sono davvero ottimi. Abituato allo schermo del MAC devo dire che si avverte solo un pò meno nitidezza dei bordi dei caratteri, ma dovete proprio essere delle aquile per notarlo. Per tutto il resto, è un pannello fantastico, considerando il prezzo. L'ho montato con supporto VESA ad un braccio snodato che mi permette di sistemarlo alla misura altezza e profondità che desidero.
Non mi dilungo sulle caratteristiche che in generale mi sembrano ottime sempre in considerazione del rapporto qualità prezzo, ovviamente sfido a trovare di meglio.
Ottimo per il gaming e per visualizzare le vostre foto ma anche per riprodurre i filmati in 4K.
La misura del pannello è tale che dovete considerare una scrivania abbastanza profonda. Quello che consiglio ovviamente è di non montarlo sui piedistalli ma su un braccio con attacco VESA, essendo ovviamente un pannello molto grande, metterlo alla misura dei vostri occhi non è semplice.

A livello grafico è un ottimo prodotto niente da dire , la massima risoluzione 3840x2160 è notevole, sicuramente un ottimo acquisto sia per lavoro che per svago. Vorrei segnalare solo due cose, la prima un aspetto pratico io sono passato da un 32" a questo e devo dire che la differenza è tanta, ci vuole almeno un metro o poco più di distanza per gestire bene la visuale e nonostante questo ci ho messo 2 giorni per abituarmi, quindi prima di comprarlo valutate bene lo spazio a disposizione in profondità e larghezza, secondo devo segnalare che gli accessori nello specifico le viti per montare i piedi fanno schifo , di pessima qualità , quindi consiglio o fissaggio al muro o di prestare molta attenzione in fase di montaggio

Il volume è discreto, mancano totalmente bassi e medio bassi, se non si vogliono diffusori full range esterni un subwoofer che si estende ai medi è consigliato.
Video
Nessun pixel danneggiato e calibrazione di partenza valida, non si sente la mancanza dello HDR.
Connettività
Forniti molti cavi, rispetto ad altri produttori.
Posizionamento
Impegnativo. Il supporto non consente molte regolazioni e se l’altezza non è corretta si devono compiere sforzi notevoli con il collo a causa delle dimensioni, un supporto Vesa è quasi obbligatorio, purtroppo il monitor ha una sporgenza in basso che costringe ad utilizzare dei distanziali. Anche alcuni comandi importanti sono posizionati in sul retro in modo tale da non essere utilizzabili se si avvicina troppo il monitor ad una parete. Un altro problema è il posizionamento della telecamera, sia sotto che sopra il monitor non consente riprese corrette a causa delle dimensioni. Il monitor è talmente grande che costringe a mettere eventuali casse acustiche troppo lontane tra loro.
Trasporto
Disastroso. Il monitor, trasportato da BARTOLINI è arrivato spezzato a metà. Amazon è stata cortese e veloce nella sostituzione. Il tutto si è risolto con una perdita di tempo per imballare nuovamente il monitor e chiedere la sostituzione. Un pensiero non gentile va chi ha causato il danno.
Concludendo
Un buon prodotto per il prezzo chiesto. Bisogna inventarsi soluzioni nuove per posizionarlo correttamente.

Ottimo monitor

Monitor da 43 pollici, risoluzione UHD (3840x2160). Sul retro ha svariate connessioni:
- 5x porte USB
- 2x HDMI
- 2x displayport
- 1x VGA
- 2x jack audio

Il monitor è molto buono, di fabbrica ha dei colori buoni, ma avendo in casa uno spettrofotometro, dopo la calibrazione è migliorato ulteriormente.
Ho letto molti commenti relativi ai problemi di burn in, ovvero di 'aloni' lasciati dalle immagini fisse, ma al momento non ho notato il problema, ma c'è da dire che lo uso prevalentemente per guardare dei video, quindi le immagini statiche sono limitate al massimo nel mio utilizzo.
Un difetto rilevato è che l'illuminazione nello schermo non è perfettamente uniforme, ma non tanto da creare problemi, con questa dimensione e risoluzione ci sta anche un po'. Con la calibrazione comunque si nota meno.

Altre funzioni utili sono che se si collega il monitor tramite cavo USB, il monitor funziona come hub USB e si possono collegare altre periferiche.
Inoltre è solo monitor, quindi se non si hanno altri apparecchi, si è esentati dal canone.

La dotazione del monitor inoltre fornisce cavi di ogni tipo, io li avevo già, ma è comunque un punto a favore.

Molto luminoso, il problema delle immagini residue non si presenta se si impostano i vari screen saver sui dispositivi collegati.
Provato su Xbox One S e X in 4k ed andava bene.
Fate attenzione se avete un vecchio amplificatore a/v , accertatevi che supporti il 4k.
Ricordo che con questo monitor al posto della TV si può evitare di pagare il canone rai.

Dopo poco più di 2 anni mi è comparsa una macchia bianca sullo schermo.
Questo fa cambiare il mio giudizio e soprattutto condizionerà le scelte future quando lo sostituirò con uno di marca diversa.

Dopo aver riparato la lente che si era scollata oggi ho notato che si sta formando lo stesso difetto anche sull'altro lato dello monitor. Scendo ad una stella annullando completamente tutto l'entusiasmo dei primi tempi.

Bon écran 4K pour ordinateur

Je m'en sers pour "étendre" l'écran de mon portable (et qui, étonnamment, pilote le 4K en HDMI mais avec un taux de 30 Hz, ce qui reste supportable en dehors de jeux) ou en complément d'un autre écran 27" pour l'ordinateur "tour" de mon salon et également pour regarder la télévision (via une carte tuner sur l'ordinateur mais aussi avec un tuner externe indépendant STROM 506).

A ce jour, près de six mois d'utilisation et pas de problème rencontré.

Image de bonne qualité, vu le prix. Le son est, au regard des autres écrans d'ordinateur de type 24 ou 27" que j'ai eus, particulièrement bon pour une utilisation courante (mais, bien entendu, pas pour regarder un enregistrement d'opéra...).

A recommander sans réserve.

Als Fernseher-Ersatz absolut tauglich

Ich verwende diesen Bildschirm als Fernseher-Ersatz und bin sehr zufrieden.

Versand:
Er wurde gut verpackt zugeschickt und hatte keinerlei Beschädigungen.

Nach dem Auspacken musste man nur mehr die Standbeine anschrauben und schon konnte damit ferngesehen werden. (habe die Standbeine inzwischen gegen eine VESA Halterung getauscht, ging problemlos und erlaubt jetzt auch eine Höhen- und Winkeleinstellung des Bildschirms)

Qualität:
Die Verarbeitung wirkt sehr wertig und es wackelt nichts. Der kleine Steuerknopf auf der Hinterseite, der die Menüsteuerung erlaubt, ist ein bisschen fummelig, wirkt aber nicht, als ob er filigran wäre.

Allgemein:
Die Reaktionszeit des Panels ist sehr gut, kein Vergleich zu dem Philips-Fernseher den ich davor hatte. Das merkt man vor allem bei schnellen Spielen auf der XBox oder am PC. Wobei ich hier sagen muss: die XBox und der Bildschirm vertragen sich von Haus aus nicht so gut. Hatte einige Zeit der Einstellung benötigt um ein akzeptables Bild (bzgl Helligkeit und Farben) zu erhalten. Komischerweise war dieses Problem nur auf die XBox beschränkt und ist weder beim PC, noch der Switch oder dem Blu-Ray-Player aufgetreten. Aber nach einigen Anpassungen und Farbeinstellungen (am Fernseher wie auch der XBox - z.B. aktivieren von PC-RGB usw.) passt es nun auch hier.

Das Bild:
Das Bild ist von den Farben her prächtig und leuchtend, hier steht es einem Fernseher (ausser in der maximalen Helligkeit) in Nichts nach. Wenn der Bildschirm auf rein Schwarz schaltet sind im Randbereich schwache leichte Höfe zu erkennen, aber nichts das ein Fernsehvergnügen trüben würde oder gar bei der Bilddarstellung auffallen würde.

Zum Sound:
Hier kann ich leider nichts dazu sagen, da mein Sound immer über einen AV-Receiver ausgegeben wird.

Fazit:
Ein sehr guter und vor allem preiswerter Bildschirm, der wie gesagt auch einen Fernseher würdig vertreten kann. Praktisch ist, dass man nicht mehr vergessen kann, den Fernseher auszuschalten, da er es nun ganz automatisch macht.

Update (28.8.2018)
Ich habe den "Fernseher" nun über 7 Monate im Einsatz und bin noch immer begeistert davon. Sehr praktisch ist, dass man keine Fernbedienung braucht, da er sich ja automatisch abschaltet, wenn keine Bildquelle verfügbar ist.

Zum Einbrenneffekt: Es kommt, wenn man für längere Zeit (z.B. so >15 Minuten) ein Standbild lässt zu einem "Einbrenn-Effekt". Dieser Effekt verschwindet jedoch nach sehr kurzer Zeit (5-10sec), wenn sich das Bild wieder bewegt und fällt auch bei Vorhandensein nur auf wirklich schwarzem Hintergrund auf. Also für mich kein Grund einen Stern abzuziehen. Wenn man den Bildschirm hauptsächlich am PC verwendet, kann es jedoch wahrscheinlich als störend empfunden werden.

Update (16.05.2019)
Ich habe den Bildschirm jetzt seit geraumer Zeit in täglicher Nutzung.
Ich bin nach wie vor von dem Bild begeistert. Ich konnte nun auch den Sound ausgiebig testen, da mein PC nun direkt an den Bildschirm angeschlossen ist: Es gibt hier absolut nichts zu bemängeln. Natürlich wirkt der Sound gegen meine Dolby 7.1 Anlage sehr mickrig und blass, aber für die Größe der Boxen ist er absolut OK. Ich habe mich schon oft dabei ertappt für PC-Spiele aber auch Serien oder kurze Clips gar nicht erst die Anlage einschalten zu wollen, da der Fernseher auch einen durchaus guten Sound liefert - das soll schon was heißen ;)!
Einbrenneffekt: Ich habe in letzter Zeit sehr viel MMORPG gespielt (Diese Spiele haben einige HUD-Icons immer auf der gleichen Stelle) und ich habe bisher keinen permanenten Einbrenneffekt beobachtet. Wenn das Bild auf schwarz wechselt, sieht man die Symbole noch für ein paar Sekunden (2-5) und dann verschwinden sie vollends, bei farbigen Bildern konnte ich bisher nichts störendes bemerken.
Ich kann das Gerät nach wie vor nur bedingungslos empfehlen!

Es increíble que por tan poco dinero puedan proporcionar un monitor de esta calidad, la definición es muy buena, los colores vienen bien calibrados de fábrica, no hay que tocar nada, de hecho mejor no hacerlo salvo que se tenga un buen colorímetro. La única pega que he tenido es que mi tarjeta no inicializaba el monitor por la entrada HDMI sin tener conectado a la vez el VGA, pero es problema de la tarjeta (GeForce GTX 745) no del monitor.
El botón de apagado no es muy accesible.
El tamaño es realmente grande, cuesta mucho acostumbrarse y he tardado un mes en sentirme a gusto con este monitor, ahora no lo cambio por nada, para diseño es excepcional. La función PIP te da mucho juego en un monitor tan grande.

Fantastic screen, even though not ideal, but which one is? I have not noticed any issues others are mentioning.

You HAVE TO SEE IT to believe it. If you have not worked on 40/43 inch screen before, there's nothing to compare. I can't imagine going back to anything smaller or to two screens. Apart from daily email, media consumption and document typing, I also use it for video and photo editing. I love how I can have my whole video or photo app laid out in a way that I can see the whole photo/video and can access all the tools I need without switching between screens or windows, etc. Ability to see the photo in various sizes is priceless.

Some features are pros and cons at the same time - depending on what you need.

- Movies? It's an experience and a half. Like in the cinema or better!
- MS Excel? Awesome area of coverage!
- Multi window work? Just brilliant - all on one screen - no more switching. Combined with Windows 10 multi desktops, just awesome!
- 60Hz 4K - works!
- IPS uniformity - it's here, but far from perfect - read below.
- USB ports at the back - maybe useful one day.
- Menus - really easy to use and navigate, even though not ideal, but compared to other products, really good.
- Smudges and fingerprints not visible while the screen is on. Only when off.
- Built in loudspeakers are a good bonus, but are rubbish for music as you can expect at this price point. Great for the night when you don't want to wake others up with the bass as there is none :-)

Works great with all scaling from 100 to 400%. I set it to 125% as 100% was a bit too difficult on the eyes (even though usable), and %150 removes too much of the screen's real estate. If sharpness is, however, the most important aspect for you, you'll love it at 150 or 200%.

Cons:
- glossy screen - it's great for the looks, but it may create too much of a reflection if you have lots of light around. I have a window in front of me, so not an issue.
- IPS uniformity - it's much better than non IPS screens, for sure, but there is a clear difference between looking at the screen straight and at an angle - but maybe that's typical to all IPS screens - it can't be ideal, but much better than other screens, which is important for photo and video editing. If colour/brightness uniformity is critical for you, this screen is not for you. For most people it will be great or at least good enough, though.
- does not work with with Windows screen off mode after screen saver finishes - it keeps coming back to life. Not a huge deal, but annoying. (Edit: screen saver works ok after I disconnected the USB hub - although I can live without it, it's a shame that USB hub does not allow the screensaver to kick in)
- screen burn out - I have only seen it once in the last few months that I've had it, and it quickly disappeared, so not a big deal. (Edit: I don't think there is any screen burn out - just an illusion, I think. More tests required, but since that's no issue now I won't be testing it).

Edit: To make text look clear I used ClearType and chose the "thick" texts. Also, I experimented with MacType (great software, but not well developed), but that has issues of its own, so now I stick to ClearType only, although MacType gives better results. It's beyond me why Microsoft insist that their font display is great instead fixing it once and for all. That is the only thing I envy Mac users.

All in all, incredible value for the price. DO NOT be put off by the size - you'll come to love it the first day!

I recently picked this monitor up, and I don't have a comparison point to compare it against other 4k monitors, so if you're looking to know which 4k monitor to buy, I probably can't help you.

That said, for my needs, this thing is a godsend.

4k resolution is amazing for anyone that does serious computer work. I'm a programmer by trade, and this thing is equivalent to 4 20 inch 1080p displays. It allows me to view so much more at a glance, rather than flipping around applications. It may seem a small thing, but if you're tired or anxious, not having to flip though apps to find data really helps.

If you're considering the jump from 1920x1080 to 4k, I highly recommend it.

While I don't have a comparison point for this monitor, I can say that I am very happy with it. It seems to do its job well.
