brand new defective strainer
received today like that, poor workmanship and materials, and I'm not waiting for mine to rust to return the set, do not recommend—Seller Co. contacted me and kindly 1. apologized for the situation and 2. offered a replacement. I thought about it and well...ended up accepting it. They also 'kindly' asked me at last to 'please' delete my original comments @ Amazon.—This is what I decided to do: Edit that rather negative initial reaction feedback and then include their great attitude and concern about what happened and of course, their own selling worries too. This is what my heart advised me to do, anyway, reflect what transcurred and give them credit for their support. Thank you.

This is a great product except for the handle breaking off(for me it was the largest strainer). Do a simple review search for "handle broken." I'm not sure if this function is available via mobile, but it is worth spending a minute to figure out after doing this search that this is happening at a very very high rate.
Like others have said, the handle is quite fragile. It is not attached well as you can see in the picture there is no evidence of soldering or any other type of strong bonding element.
If you are okay with this and would like a to save a couple of dollars(literally) then you can ignore this review. Otherwise, look for some other products that again cost a few more dollars that look like much higher quality. There's one that has 99% 5 star reviews out of about 100 reviews and one person gave it four stars(handles not breaking off seems to be emphasized). I know amazon reviews can be hard to decipher, but this seems like a no-brainer.
I hope this or other reviews about the handle breaking start to make it to the top so people like me and you don't make the mistake of buying this item.

This is a great product except for the handle breaking off(for me it was the largest strainer). Do a simple review search for "handle broken." We have a winner. The new design is awesome. Much better and they've held up very well. I've been trying them out for about 6 months now. I would purchase these new ones without hesitation.
***Update*** They did promptly return my money and were very friendly to work with. They also shipped me the updated style which do look a bit more sturdy, but so did the first. They keep contacting me asking me if I'd change the rating considering that they've refunded my money and sent me a new set. That really has nothing whatsoever to do with the quality of the product. I will only change the rating if the product has become good quality. Who care how good they are with returns. Don't people expect a 5 star rating to equal good quality rather than fast refunds if a crappy product? I hope their design flaws have been corrected though as they seem genuinely concerned about their customers (or at least their rating) and it does look like they'll work well at first glance.
Original review: I was amazed to notice the other day that two of the strainers have edges that already pulled out of the trim on them. I have hardly used these at all. I thought I'd be getting them for steaming vegetables and I found that they were really too small to do that so I've hardly used them at home. Nevertheless two of them have already started breaking massively. I'm very Unhappy with them.
