These rods are very well made -- the rods are quite a bit thicker than the usual rods. Promark is always a good reliable brand for sticks, and I can highly recommend these.
These sound great on the hi-hats, ride and crash cymbals. Good range of sound from snare and toms. If you can't get the volume you need from wooden sticks without wasting too much energy to control them, these are a great option.
