This series is so addicting! Once you got past the beginning of book 1, book 2 & book 3 had you so wrapped up in their storylines that you are shocked when you hit the last book and scream in frustration that you want more!! I mean seriously these books could be over 1000+ pages and you’ll still want more! I can’t wait to see what happens in the next book to Claire, Liam and the rest of Delta members! I guarantee you will love these books and series!

I enjoyed this book, it was great to read about the characters that were introduced in the first books. It was nice to see all the interaction that they all had, the caring and commitment for each other and their cause. Claire had some of her questions answered regarding her past. She and Liam reconnected, which was great to read. I am looking forward to the next book to find out what will happen. An enjoyable read.

Book three in the Devil's Isle series. I loved it, I loved it, I loved it!!!! This entire series has been absolutely incredible and this installment did not let me down. After book two ended with a cliff hanger I was dying to gets my hands on this one so I could see what happens next which is why I pre-ordered it and got my hands on it release day. In a truly inspired style Claire forces Liam to admit what he did and that it was wrong (though it does take quite a bit of time for him to do that). I really enjoyed this because most female characters would have caved before hand but not our independent Claire. She has a mind of her won and knows how to use it which she shows very well throughout this entire book. The suspense heats up and of course there is yet another cliff hanger. I highly recommend this book to anyone that read the first two and if you enjoy great YA fantasy books then you definitely need to give these a shot. I loved it so much it gets 5/5 stars. My only regret is that now I have to wait yet again to find out what happens next and the release date hasn't even been rumored yet this time. Go Chloe!!!!

The Hunt takes us back into Claire & Liam's world of magic, family & friends. I absolutely love this book and this series! After the heart-wrenching ending in The Sight, I was so glad to see some issues resolved, even though Claire and her friends now face even bigger challenges than ever before. In The Hunt, Claire starts to embrace her abilities and gain greater control, showing just how strong she really is. I love the dialog between all the characters, their great interaction and devotion to each other and to New Orleans. I'm not sure when book #4 is scheduled to be release but any time at all will be too long - I can't wait to see where Neill takes us next!

Great continuation of the story, some unexpected happenings. Liam finally returns and is accepting his change. What will the future being for them?

The Hunt, Devil's Isle number three, pulls you into the story immediately. As it should have, beings the way book two ended.

From the first page to the very last, the words of this story guided me through more paranormal vs. human showdown. While this story is fiction, you get a sense of familiarity when it comes to the prejudices of the Para against the humans and vice versa. It stirred up real feelings I have for what happens today; something that makes me feel close to this urban fantasy.

Luckily, the mixed circle of friends this series has forged constantly gave me something to root for, unspoken bonds to think about, and more to look forward to. Have I stated how great the characters are Devil's Isle yet? Just in case I haven't, let me make clear that Chloe Neill, without a doubt, knows how to create, write, and evolve her characters; there isn't a single one in this series that I don't love.

I wasn't sure if there was going to be a fourth book for Devil's Isle. However, with the way the story ended, I'm can say without hesitation that there will indeed be at least one more. Which is great because I enjoy the series, but also very hard to deal with because the way The Hunt ended left me in anxious for the next installment.

Why?

Because holy-fu*****-crap! Oh, my god, just when I thought things couldn't get any worse for the characters I've grown to love, the crap hits the fan; a big ol' pile of it.

This is going to be a painful wait.

I am a big fan of Chloe Neill. I was very sorry to say goodbye to Merit in her Chicagoland Vampire series, but I had already started the Devil's Isle series. I enjoy the characters and world building, though perhaps it helps I don't live that far from New Orleans. She shows a good knowledge of NOLA. While not as totally great as her Chicagoland series, it is very good and I recommend it to all Neill fans.

This is Chloe's best series in my opinion. I loved her other series but this was starker, harsher ,gritty. Louisiana, particularly New Orleans, has become the battleground between humans and a fae like people from another dimension. The far like people are called paras. As often happens the humans are no difference between paras that are good and paras that want to kill them. Most humans anyway. This is the third installment in the series. Do yourself a favor and read them in order.

I enjoyed reading yet another great book from Chloe Neill. I'm missing the kind of umph that she portrays in Chicagoland vampires, but I can definitely recommend the book to fantasy lovers 😊

Je lis tout les livres de cette auteure et aucun ne me déçoit. Suivez Claire et Liam les yeux fermés. Même si j'aurais préféré qu'elle lui en fasse baver un peu plus dans ce tome.

Very slow with too many plot reruns. Not up to Chloe's usual superb standard.
