Great for Teachers!!!
5 Stars
Great for Teachers!!!
I read a lot of reviews before buying this. Most of the people reviewing this are artists and have left very good reviews. I noticed maybe one person who is a teacher leaving a review, so I wanted to jot something for my teachers out there. I am an AP Calculus teacher. I also make videos, similar to Khan academy for my students. These videos are not published on YouTube, but on a school platform that allows me to post videos, notes, pages, etc. My students have been benefiting greatly from these videos. I started off with a document camera, but noticed my hand would get in the way of my writing and I couldn't make the videos at home due to the anchor of the document camera in my class. I wanted something where I could write and make videos right on the computer just like Khan. Students like to hear their teachers voice versus a stranger, and you can adjust your lesson to your book, notes, etc. Some comments on how I have used this product:I have a Smart Board and I have used this with the Smart Board technology to draw on the board while sitting down on days I am not feeling good. It has been amazing for that. If you have a Smart Board, this works great if you want to screen record your lessons, or even if you are having a bad day and do not want to be on your feet for a full lesson. This also works amazing using the snipping tool that is in your computer if you have the right version that I cannot name. I use that all the time. I can bring up the PDF's of the homework or notes, snip the screen with the page on it, and write on it right on the computer while the students watch, take notes, etc. My students have been loving it.This also works great in a certain word program that is the 2013 version. I have not noticed this in earlier versions, cause I don't have any, so it could work in them too, but I know in 2013 there is a pen option. I can open up a document and write directly on the document in various colors and thicknesses. This is awesome for designing my own worksheets, and then writing the keys to the worksheets. I also use this to write up the notes and make pages where students who were absent can get a copy of the notes online, as well as watch a video of the lesson. I can see this being great for an English teacher who needs to grade essays. You can mark all over the digital copies, (save trees yay) and send the corrected work right back to the student digitally.I've attached a picture and a video showing how I use this. As a teacher, I am in love and will never, ever not have one of these. The price was amazing for my small budget, and because I purchased it myself they cannot take it away from me, ha!On a side note, I do also draw with it and use it generally. I am so very pleased. Best teacher purchase ever! Minus my coffee pot.

Altamente recomendada.

It's a Wacom tablet, so it's great by default.Same quality, pressure levels, battery-free pen and other stuff.

Compared to my old Bamboo, it's couple of levels up. Pen is smaller and lighter, and very convenient.

Keys on the tablet are very handy, since they are located in easy to reach areas.

Setup is simple, and I was pleasantly surprised to finally work without issues on Windows (there were some conflicts in older models, but still nothing major).

What I loved the most:
1. Compartment for nibs inside. I was always losing them before, and now they are always at hand!
2. Ability to make it cordless (I'm going to purchase adapter later)
3. Customization for every.single.app. I'm sure fellow designers will appreciate it so much! You can set your default preferences + different sets of preferences and hotkeys for app you use.
