Other than that the product performed amazingly for the price. The images are rather clear for its slightly higher than 480p native resolution and it performs its best in slightly lit areas to complete darkness. As for the build quality it is very well made, the remote feels very good in the hand and the entire projector is in a rather glossy black finish and comes with a lens cap with a loop for a string (no string on its own). The ports are plentiful: 2 HDMI ports, a composite (needs a line in input not a composite cable), 2 USB slots (one power one for USB sticks), an SD card slot, and finally a D-Bus or analog input for PCs.
My experience has only been with the HDMI side, and as for the start of this review I did run into some problems that were easily fixed with a new and thicker cable. This device even supports HDMI CEC which was tested with a PS3 with some interesting results: you can go as far as to use the arrow keys and ok button on the projector remote itself to navigate the PS3 menus and that's pretty much it besides turning both the PS3 and the projector on and off at the same time with the projector remote only. As for performance the result was very smooth and acceptable pictures for the price I mean seriously you forget its 480p if you sit a good distance away from it in my opinion, and is a great way to create a simple home theater setup.
However when I use a PC through the HDMI port I notice a problem with this model which doesn't happen with another model by Abdtech which is that the edges of the image from the PC are cropped, on their other model, setting the aspect ratio to "PointToPoint" fixed this issue, but doesn't on this model. I don't know if it's the entire product line, or its just an issue my model has, but with tweaking the aspect ratio manually through graphics settings provided by Intel, I was able to temporarily fix the issue.
Sound on this projector is decent, but anybody with any experience knows that most projector speakers out in the market just don't measure up to make the large picture sound as impacting as it should be. Luckily this model has an audio out and that's pretty much fixed with my own speakers. If you plan on using the default speakers, they are decent, pretty good for a budget projector and there are stereo speakers which makes it better than the other budget projectors out there.
Now for the main reason why I am marking this at 5 stars is because that even though I had my issues with it setting up, the end result was just better than I expected for the price. Even the customer service was very helpful in helping out with my issues that I have with this projector and the other one which I bought from them. I would recommend this product to anybody who wants to have a bigger screen for a fraction of the cost of a TV of the same size.

The internal speakers are tiny and weak, but I had always planned to use external speakers anyway.
The one downside is that its difficult to use the manual keystone adjust feature, and have the picture completely square, and completely in focus at the same time. This is really an issue if you plan on placing the projector right above or below the screen where the keystone effect is extreme, If you can either have the projector further away, even with the screen, or dont mind having a sharp picture, with a bit of keystoning....this is a great projector.
At $119... this projector is well worth the money as a backyard projector for general entertainment.

Packaging was very secure and neatly positioned. The black model is very sleek and expensive looking. The detail on the projector is well thought out. This projector is a simple plug and play. There are so many options for inputs and outputs. The sound is very crisp and can get very loud if you choose to only go with the speakers built into the projector. I wanted the overall theater experience so I went with home theater speakers and subwoofer. I found the picture to rival any flat screen. The controls are easy to adjust to give it clear detail. I easily projected 200 inches onto backyard wall. The fan is a whisper and I never felt the case get warm at all. We have now watched three movies in the last three nights. Since we bought this projector our company just keeps growing with each movie. One night I wanted to see how far away the picture could be viewed clearly so I got in my car and drove around the block. I was surprised that the image was amazingly clear from a block away. I must say that now every night is movie night by the outdoor fireplace because outdoor movie nights just got for real!

It doesn’t perform well with much ambient light, and really is at it’s best a fully dark room. The colour depth isn’t great, a fair bit of detail is lost in darks. And, it’s seems to blowout some brighter colours as well (e.g. red). However, that could be in part a result of the screen material and the brightness settings.
The audio is not very good, I would strongly recommend using a speaker system of some kind.
You do have some vertical keystone range, but there is no horizontal keystone. So be sure to properly centre your screen if you will be ceiling mounting it.
Ceiling mounting this was pretty easy and inexpensive. I used a $17 mount from Amazon and popped off the plastic feet on the bottom where I found the screw mounting points. In the menu you can easily flip the image to work in this position.
While this may not be a good fit for a home theatre buff, it’s perfectly suitable for a fun family rec room. For around $250 (projector, screen and mount) you can have a functional home theatre.

Pro: Lightweight and cheap
Con: Not bright and the quality is not good. The resolution is not good at all. Like if i were you just invest in something better. Its 720p max.
Look, it's not terrible. I'm more disappointed in myself for waiting so long to use it to find out that it's not good in a lit room... and before you say anything about "well you're supposed to dim the lights", while yes this is true, with this projector, the room has to be pitch black. Any minimal light makes the image hard to see. Also, the angle adjustment isn't ideal and the focus is not a sharp as I expected.
I use this with a 2018 MacBook Pro plugged into it via HDMI and text is blurry and again, the room has to be pitch black. I recommend spending a more to get a better one.
