Product Description

The revolution in circular 5.8 GHz technology. Hand-tuned for ultimate noise and reflection rejection. True circularity and great range. Designed by none other than IBCrazy. RPSMA version. While other antennas rely on copycat designs the TBS Triumph takes a giant leap in 5.8 GHz antenna technology. Video Aerial Systems LLC (IBcrazy) and Team-BlackSheep have come together to re-invent how the modern 5.8 circular polarized antenna should look and perform. In our quest for the cleanest video signal and best range possible, we have ventured way beyond the traditional bent lobes of Cloverleaf designs and invested significant time and effort in finding the best antenna designs known to man, and modifying them specifically for FPV use. After extensive design and testing, we focused on making sure the Triumph was durable enough to take even the toughest of abuse. After many test flights and extensive feedback from our pilots, we decided to use a double-jacket heavy duty Semi-Rigid cable and tin-plated connectors. For protection we created a special foam-filled and ultrasonic welded enclosure to secure the antenna from inbound trees, or other objects :) TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: Frequency range 5500-6000MHz Gain 1.26dbic Axial Ratio 0.74 Cable RG402 (heavy duty) Weight 8.5g - 9.8g Height 50mm, 1.97 in Connector RP-SMA PACKAGE CONTENTS: 2x TBS Triumph antenna-Stub RHCP RP-SMA

When I first got my quad, I was running Aomway CP antennas. I would break one every 3 weeks or so. After I ran through 3 or 4 of them, I switched over to the TBS Triumph antennas.First off, the reception was noticeably better than my other antennas. I run one Triumph on my goggles and one on my quad. I can stand inside of my house and fly all around the outside with little noticeable breakup, and I'm only running a 200mw transmitter.Secondly, I still haven't broken one. I crash pretty often, sometimes at high speed through trees. I've broken plenty of "indestructable" props, frame parts, an ESC, and two batteries, yet I somehow still can't kill my antenna. The top casing hasn't come loose at all, the wire of the antenna isn't cracking, nothing. I feel like only a full speed prop strike could actually hurt this thing, but it's never bent far enough in a crash to get hit by the props, and I'm only running it slightly above the prop line. I would say I'd buy more of these, but I feel like I'll never really need to. I recommend these antennas to everyone, if only because it's awesome not needing to replace yet another part every few weeks due to hard flying.

These are the best antennas I have ever put on my quad. The video is crystal clear. Flying through brush and on the other side of buildings with a 200mw transmitter only has a slight breakup. Compared to any other antenna I have tried which has significant breakup. These are smaller than I expected, which is nice for miniquads. I have yet to put them through a crash to test them for durability, but by the looks of the bass by the SMA connector, there is some extra bulk, so hopefully this is reinforcement. Compared to the FXT antenna next to the Triumph, you can see just how much more material is at that base. If you manage to break that, then you probably have your antenna in a bad spot. I have broken two of the FXT antennas and both broke right at the base. the plastic cover over the antennas feels cheep compared to the rest of the antenna. The connection into the cover feels solid. Hopefully these antennas live up to the hype. So far, they do.

I use these on all my quads (5+). Not sure if they're better than others, but they are certainly more durable. I crash a lot and have yet to break one.

Received a pair of the correct SMA antennas, I had been using some Aomway ones that I thought worked pretty well, but were frustratingly fragile. I was sick of breaking cheap antennas so I decided to see if you really do get what you pay for, and I am impressed. I haven't done extensive controlled testing but just from flying day to day it is obvious the range is much better than that of my Aomways, probably about 50% more distance. The coax is easy to bend and doesn't kink strangely like cheaper stuff, and the construction of the actual antenna is extremely rigid. Despite crashes that would've destroyed my Aomways, I have yet to leave a mark on the plastic and they work good as new. Wonderful construction, and fairly reasonably priced for something that I don't expect to break before the rest of my quad does.

Great product! Shipped early and got here two day before schedule. I've been through a lot of antennas in the last year and wish I would've spent the money on these earlier. Instantly you will notice a difference in picture stability.

I run 200mw vtx. Different brands bought here on amazon and at the shop. And both are much improved by these antenna. The stiff inner wire keeps the one on my goggles bent without the need for an adapter. They've already held up to two pretty nasty crashes and have barely a scratch. I'm ordering my next pair shortly for my other two quads. The small profile is also really nice. These antenna will be my go-to choice from this point on.

Triumph antennas themselves are amazingly durable and produce some of the best 5.8GHZ signal I've seen. I run them on all my quadcopters now.

3 stars because what I received was actually the the RP-SMA version of these (silver connector) and not the SMA version (gold connector), as stated in the product description and picture. They did come with RP-SMA to SMA adapters, so I'll be able to connect them, but I'd prefer not to have to use adapters, hence why I tried to order the SMA version in the first place.

The TBS Triumph has been my go to antenna for the past few years. Definitely pricey but has been the most durable and reliable. One of my oldest ones is all beat up from crashes but still performs just like a new one. If you’re hesitant I’d highly recommend this as you can’t find a better performing antenna with the durability of this one.

Used these on a train layout setup, and an Axial Wraith. Bought a few different sets. I couldnt tell any difference in my setups. Im using for ground setup. Might be a different story for those that use on quad FPV units.
