If you’re a lover of romance, spunky heroines and Cowboys then this is a must read.
The story of Georgie and Tate is a tale of love and overcoming heartbreak (in more than just a romantic sense).
Georgie is a woman to be reckoned with. With a quick tongue and fast wit (I loved the one-liner put downs… hilarious), she’s strong and independent. Coupled with a vulnerable, loving side, Georgie is one of those heroines you’d love to have as a friend.
Tate is exactly how I’d imagine a cowboy to behave (wishful thinking, huh?): honest, loyal, with an innocent charm and healthy respect for women. The dialogue was spot-on, too.
With a strong family element weaved throughout, it’s a coming together story where both Georgie and Tate work through past personal trauma together. With a few twists and turns thrown into the mix, the story is a sweet and fun read that left me feeling warm, fuzzy and hopeful.

I really enjoyed this book.
It started off a little unconventionally, with Georgie and her faithful dog, going on a road trip following her grandfather's death. Many days and miles later there's an accident where she's renting accommodation and she crashes into the lives of the Cannon family.
She meets Tate, a lone parent, and a lovely romance begins. Naturally, it isn't all plain sailing but love conquers all and this one certainly made me smile and look forward to the next book in the series.
