Trying to fly the Spark with just a phone is at best, imprecise. You never really feel as though you have complete control over it, and with prices ranging between $350-500, you don't want to lose or break it due to only being able to smear your fingers across glass.
Enter the controller. At $120, it's a little expensive compared to the price of the drone itself, but it improves the user experience by 100%. Works great, I've been able to get a range of around 1km out of it with FPV, and takes about a half hour to 45 minutes to charge. I would not recommend getting a Spark without the controller.
It does bear mentioning that if you get the controller AND the Spark AND extra batteries, you inch very close to the price of a Mavic. I own both, and while the Mavic is a significantly superior drone in terms of picture quality and flight capabilities, I find myself taking the Spark to smaller events like family reunions and day trips. I'm not nearly as afraid of damaging or losing it due to the lower price as well.

Radiocommande compatible avec le DJI Spark, facile à paramétré, bonne autonomie (environ 2h30) avec un temps de recharge d'une heure environ. Tiens bien dans la main et agréable à manipuler.
Cette radiocommande est juste indispensable au Spark si vous souhaiter faite de beau plan avec votre drone, la portée est également bien meilleur, jusqu'à 500 mètres avec un cable OTG relié à votre smartphone.
Je recommande, vous pouvez acheter les yeux fermés.
