After one use, I'm convinced that I need at least one more of these. The style and versatility of this laundry tote is great. It is perfect for lugging unmentionables and sheets to the laundromat or one's parents' house (a must-buy for college kids, 20-somethings, city folk, or if your machines are on the fritz). I am able to cram it full of dirty laundry, still close it securely, and toss it in the back of my car without worrying that it will open or snag on something (I was once an avid user of those awful polyester mesh abominations - overfilling the last one put a giant hole in it). I only use it for transport but I'm sure it makes a decent hamper as it stands just fine on its own; unlike the mesh disasters, it can be propped up or tucked away for later. Since my last laundry tote quit, I was also hoping to find something a bit more eco-friendly so the canvas material is a plus.

***It was sturdy and durable for about five years until it randomly ripped from the seams (one of the handles tore away from the base).
