Anthony Bear and Christy Chapman are from two completely different worlds.

I’ve just finished reading the nine minutes trilogy and was thrilled to find this novel. I loved every word of Anthony and Kristy’s story. I’m in love with this series and can’t wait for The next novel. Great read. All books are long but definitely not boring.

Man I wanted to love this book. I loved the 9 Minutes Trilogy and thought this would be an excellent follow up, unfortunately for me, it didn't have the same punch. I read too far into things sometimes and apply too much real life into my stories, I think that's what happened with this book. I couldn't reconcile Christy and Bear, in particular how Bear could be so loving, yet so cruel. The ending also dragged on for me, with the last 5 chapters feeling like a really long epilogue. Some people love all the threads to be tied up in a neat little bow, me, not so much. My love for the book says more about my likes and has nothing to do at all with Beth's writing.

That being said there were definitely tricks and turns that I didn't expect (I won't reveal them here) and definitely enjoyed. There were alot of aspects to like about the story, and I'm sure there will be readers who love the connection between Christy and Bear.

If you loved 9 Minutes as much a s I did, you'll like Christy and Bears story.

And Beth Flynn does it again!

Has me swooning.
Flicking those pages, greedy for more.
Deliriously happy.
Suspicious because everyone is shady AF. Hell, this is a Beth Flynn novel, everyone’s got secrets so I’m worried.
Dying inside with all of this suspense and mystery.
Shedding a tear again for Grizz and Kit from back in the day.
Giddy with excitement.
Raging with resentment.
But most of all, my heart is now full of happiness.

Once again Beth wove a tragically beautiful tale that reminded me, love really does conquer all.

And wasn’t it something.

I’m not sure where to begin with this review and if you’ve ever read a Beth Flynn novel you can probably understand what I mean when I say that. See Beth does something that I struggle to find in many other authors work. She doesn’t just bring you a story to distract you for a few hours. You don’t pick up a Beth Flynn novel and put it down feeling the same way you did when you began reading the first page. The woman will slay you with a story worth every second of your time. She pulls emotions from me I don’t often feel when reading. The way she weaves a love story together with flawed characters and intricate plot lines is nothing short of amazing. The Iron Tiara was another crazy ride of emotions just like Miss Flynn’s previous work. Christy and Anthony’s book is gritty, sometimes dark and not for the faint hearted. Another reason I find myself getting lost and utterly invested in Beth Flynn’s books is the way she teases readers with secondary characters’ relationships. The Iron Tiara gives you so much more than a small romance between two characters and I urge you pick it up and give it a go. While the beginning was somewhat slow for my liking, the book overall was a love story I won’t be forgetting any time soon.

It’s FIVE stars from me, folks.

Beth Flynn has taken us on a ride again. I could not stop reading this book. Since we first met him in Nine Minutes, Anthony Bear has been an mysterious presence. What is his story? Where is he from? What is his relationship to Grizz? I wanted to know it all.

Of course, in true Beth Flynn fashion...the intrigue and conspiracy kept me turning the pages. Christy Chapman is at the center of it all. The strength that emanates off of her is amazing. Christy gives the impression she doesn't need help from anyone. However, Bear's overpowering presence could be the one thing to break Christy's tough exterior.

"A memory of being held in huge, strong arms while soothing words of comfort she didn't recognize were whispered in her ear. A feeling of complete and total security. A place where something deep inside told her she belonged."

You will have to read to find out how Christy and Bear are entwined in intrigue. It is an amazing story that readers of romance will not want to miss. I highly recommend this story.

Anthony is one of the most feared men in Florida, I mean proof is in the writing. His interest in the female form are for release only, no ties and no strings attached. In walks a blonde haired enigma he can't figure out and for whatever reason can't let her go. In one hand he can be ruthless, violent and unforgiving and with the other he's infatuated, worships, adores and treasures what he finds with Christy.

I loved it from beginning to end and I CAN NOT FREAKING WAIT FOR CHRISTIAN AND MIMI'S BOOK!!! In case you were ever wondering if you should...yes you should. The mere mention of Christian in this book has me jumping for joy...cause Anthony and Grizz...yeah that'll be epic! <3

If you follow me you should know by now that I’m a major Beth Flynn’s fan. Her Nine Minutes trilogy really blew me away. If you’ve never read it and are looking for a story happening in the MC world with an extraordinarily solid plot filled with twists you never saw coming JUST READ IT!

I was really excited when I learned Beth was publishing a new book. I already knew it would be about Anthony Bear and Christy a couple we met in her previous trilogy and could not wait to read it.

What can I say now?

-looks are deceiving;

-this is not for the faint of heart as you’ll have very hard scenes;

-you’ll have twists aplenty and the biggest is in the last pages (never saw it coming!);

-this is an unconventional love story;

-if you can’t stand love/lust at first sight don’t read it;

-it was riveting and sometimes I literally forgot to breathe;

-Beth Flynn has earned her place in my Best Authors pantheon with flying colors.

Let’s flesh out these facts now.

-Looks are deceiving

Anthony Bear has one of the most handsome face and body you could meet. Native American, tall, muscled, long dark hair, high cheeckbones he is described as nearly mesmerizing and… he is a ruthless outlaw. He will kill you in heartbeat, preferably with his machete and really slowly if you infuriated him. He is like one of these panthers: beautiful but deadly.

Christy Chapman is small, blonde with blue eyes and curves in the right places. She has a huge fortune but she is not your traditional uppity heiress. Anthony believed her to be a cold entitled and spoiled brat whereas she is one of the most generous and caring persons I’ve read about. Mind you she’ll even have pity of a deformed goat offering the animal a second chance and a mate!

Anyway Anthony will need time for his thick skull to admit he was wrong about Christy!

“For the first time in their very short acquaintance, he saw her as more than a spoiled, rich brat. He saw her as a human being. He saw her as someone who cared beyond her bank balance and her fancy car dealership and family mansion.”

And yet that’s not all what Christy is!
Life has hit her so many time that she’s got now a thick skin and will take some actions I never believed she was capable of. I adored this chick!

-Not for the fain hearted

As explained with Anthony’s look and behavior this is a MC book with all it entails. Bear is a ruthless boss you won’t want betray. Bear is an outlaw and will never hesitate to torture his enemies. Especially if you hurt HIS woman! So if you can’t stand torture beating or hint at rape scenes don’t read this book. Even if it’s far from a dark romance you still have graphic violence.

-Plot twists alert!
The Iron Tiara is a romance. It’s Anthony and Christy’s love story albeit unconventional above all else BUT… Beth could not keep it simple. I swear this woman loves surprising her reader! The bigger and most unexpected twist the better. Even when you did not think there was a catch you’ll find one! It makes for a very captivating pace as you fall into the love story get your bearings, become comfortable and then BAM! you fall on your behind knocked out by some twist or dark secret. I literally forgot to breathe some time!

-Unconventional love story

Not only is it unconventional as Anthony Bear is Native American, born into poverty and an outlaw whereas Christy is a white heiress but the speed of the romance and its violence make it unconventional. No one would have expected these two to fall for each other. Their first encounter was …confrontational and Bear hated Christy. He thought her a snotty chick. "I'll make this simple," he told her, looking down at her with a scowl. "This can go down easy, or it can go down not so easy. It's your choice, and either way I win. (…) Her eyes widened, and he saw an expression he recognized. She thought he was going to rape her. He almost scoffed out loud. For starters, he wasn't a rapist. He didn’t have to force himself on women. If anything, he had to swat them off like flies. Second, she was so far from his type, it was laughable. Of course this blonde bimbo would think he wanted to rape her. The only way the stupid savage would ever be able to have a spoiled, entitled white woman like her would be to take her by force. He instantly hated her.”
When he’ll fall for her he will fall fast and hard. Hence my “if you don’t love insta love story stay away” warning.

Huge bonus in my books Anthony is Uber Alpha! Like Grizz did with Kit Bear will protect his woman. He can be the most frightening son of a b@tch he will be so sweet with his Owani. I LOVE when the big bad Alpha becomes a kitten in the hands of his sweetheart ;-)

So this is the unexpected, brutal and unconventional love story of an outlaw and an heiress. You’ll forget to breathe like I did due to plot twists and unearthed secrets. You will also swoon witnessing Anthony’s protectiveness towards Christy and cry some learning what happened to her. And you will pray for a second machete just to help Anthony meting out his personal brand of justice.

I can’t wait to read the next book about the kids!!!!

Would I recommend it? Hell yes!

Ok, first of all, english isn't my first language, so I already apologize for the grammar mistakes. Second, this book gave me the same feelings I had when I read Nine Minutes years ago; this story is a masterpiece, Beth did a fantastic job here. My heart is broken because I didn't want to say goodbye to these characteres, at least some of them lol. I loved this book and the acknowlegments made me cry. Beth, you are a genius and a lovely person.
Read this book, guys, it's an unforgetable experience.
