SOFT, STURDY. WELL MADE + MACHINE WASHABLE ✅
My cat is a long and lean 7 lbs. tamale loves this bed 😻The Petmaker indoor cat bed is really gorgeous. Tamale went in it immediately. If you have pets that like these self warming beds, or that prefer a secure space- this is that bed. ✅The plush outer walls are sturdy and thick. It stands up well and doesn’t cave in. It was good right out of the vacuum pack after a few shakes. The material is soft to the touch.I’ve enclosed photos- one with Tamale sleeping in it. She rates it 10 🐾The other photo shows it from the top- you can see how even the sides are from an aerial view.The fleece material is soft and high quality. The grey color is a medium grey- not light or dark. The stitching and craftsmanship are well done. ✅1 ‣ The bed came vacuum packed- so it was flat and not crushed. When I opened it - I shook it and it was perfect. No sag at all. The "walls" are thick and sturdy, as is the pad that goes inside for the cat to lay on.2 ‣ I covered the removable inner pad with a folded plush blanket so it doesn’t get furry because machine washing that pad in the machine will move the inner foam around. I’ve had one before. Believe me.3 ‣ I’m glad the bed is machine washable- will do that as needed and allow it to air dry.4 ‣ Can’t say enough good things about this bed. If you’re on the fence, get it. Just remember that the pad for laying on shouldn’t be machine washed - but the bed can be. Your pets will love this bed.

It's not bad for the price and our two cats love switching in and out of this house. I got this intending it for our small 6 lb cat but our 15 lb cat also fits in it which I thought he'd be too big to do. It came folded in delivery and is soft enough that it wasn't stiff or wrinkled when I unfolded it.
The little removable foam bed was easy enough to get in and fits nicely on the bottom of the house. However, because the material is so soft, it seems like it would be a little harder for the house to keep its shape so I ended up cutting a square of cardboard roughly the size of the removable foam bed and stuck that under the bed to give the house more support and shape which helped. Then I put a heating pad inside of it and like I said, cats love it and pretty much moved into their pumpkin palace the same day.
I haven't tried washing it yet but I don't know if I will since we have the inside lined with the carboard and heating pad but who knows what the future holds with two cats. If for some reason we have to wash it, I'll update the review.

One of my cats waited impatiently for me to unfold it and put the bottom in and then promptly went inside and curled up… It’s been out for about an hour, and there have been three cats curled up in it. Even though the little floor that you put in is soft it may not be as comfortable if it’s placed on floor; mine is on carpet. I imagine it would be really easy to clean in the washer which is also nice :-)
