After reading Beautiful Sacrifice, and the author had a beginning chapter of this book, I was stunned! So much so, that I couldn't wait to see what would happen with Mac and Marcy, and how the author could ever figure them to have a happily ever after.

Lots of intrigue, action, and detail going on--loaded with it. It's not your typical, boy meets girl, they fall in love, have a fight and live their HEA. This is a roller coaster of a ride and what I love is that that whole cast of characters gets to be a part of the action.

Mac and Marcy have a long history and an incredible past, and through it all, they've never really been able to move on without the other. Yet, all the while, Marcy has been keeping a secret from Mac, which almost destroys them all. Heart pounding drama and action. Love Mac! He is like the lovable guy we all want to marry! :)

While you could do this as a stand alone, I'd recommend starting with the first book, Beautiful Delusions. It will be more enjoyable knowing everyone and their history.

Mac and Marcy were childhood friends and sweethearts. They served together in the same unit during their time in the military. But a horrible misunderstanding ripped them apart and stubborn pride kept them that way. For twelve years Marcy has kept a secret from Mac and his brothers, but a moment of weakness is all it takes to bring everything to the surface. Now Marcy fears losing everything that matters to her.

On top of everything else, a madman is after their whole family and everyone's life is endangered. Mac and Marcy must learn to work together again in order to help protect their loved ones.

Ember-Raine Winters has delivered another beautiful, sweet, and wonderful story in the Pride and Honor series. I truly enjoy her work and this book was no exception. I read Beautiful Deception straight through. I absolutely do not want to have to wait for the release of the final book. If you love a sweet, heartfelt story, be sure to read this whole series!

Wow when ember writes a story she goes hard! This is a stand alone but you should read books 1 and 2! This is pix and Macs story! This is the 3rd book if you like drama running from bad guys this is the book for you! Mac does meet his son that pix hides from him for 11 years and boy was he angry but does he forgive her? We see trey and griffin and twitch make their appearance in the book and their is a kidnapping and a surprise pregnancy! I loved reading this and couldn't put it down. This is a one click and I can't wait to read the next book!!!
